The installation requires removing coil springs, modifying the lower spring seat with drilling and grinding, and routing air lines through the vehicle. Extreme caution is required when removing coil springs for safety reasons.

These modifications are permanent.
Yes, the air line (C) must be cut in two. Make clean, square cuts using a razor blade or hose cutter. Do not use scissors or wire cutters. The air line is then routed from the lower spring seat through the lower spring link and attached to the barbed stem on the air spring.
The lower knuckle/spring link mounting hardware must be torqued to 136 lb.-ft. (184 Nm). This torque is applied after rolling the chassis forward and back several times to unload the rear suspension.
The wheel nuts must be torqued to 130 lb.-ft. (176 Nm).
To disconnect: unplug the EPB wire harness connector and use a large screwdriver or Fir Treemount removal tool to pull the wire harness routing clip from the caliper. Remove the two treemounts holding the wiring harness on the lower spring link. Unbolt the wiring harness bracket from the caliper. To reconnect: reattach the EPB connector, large treemount, and bracket back onto the caliper and tighten the stock hardware securely.
The Schrader valve should be installed in a location that is protected and accessible with an air hose. Recommended locations include: inside rear wheel wells, inside fuel tank filler door, or rear bumper area.
