Just add air when towing or hauling a heavy load, and reduce air pressure when unloaded, they are fully adjustable for a great ride. Air Lift air springs eliminate sag, sway, and bottoming out. They are made with rugged, durable components for long, reliable service. Air Lift 1000 kits fit many popular customer vehicles with coil springs. They're designed to: add support to rear springs on many popular SUVs, replace OEM front air springs on P-30 motor homes, provide front end support for snowplows, winches, etc., improve muscle car traction for drag racing, and improve ride and handling for full-size vans and trucks with front coil springs. For AWD models, a special tool may be necessary to install the half shaft into the knuckle.

Yes. You must drill a 5/16" hole in the location where you mount the inflation valve. The manual recommends selecting a location in the gas cap well, trunk, rear bumper, fender flange, or behind the license plate, ensuring the valve is protected and accessible with an air hose.
1. Slide an air line clamp onto the air line. 2. Push the air line over the stem of the cylinder until the barbs are completely covered. 3. With pliers, slide the air line clamp over the barbs until it fully covers the barbed section. The air line must be inserted through a protector before being pushed onto the cylinder stem.
Torque specifications are: Lower arm outboard bolt & nut: 135 Nm (100 ft-lbs); Toe link outboard bolt & nut: 80 Nm (59 ft-lbs); Lower shock bolt & nut: 55 Nm (41 ft-lbs); Upper arm outboard bolt & nut: 35 Nm (26 ft-lbs); Brake hose bracket bolt: 7 Nm (62 in-lbs); Wheel speed sensor bolt: 7 Nm (62 in-lbs); Stabilizer bar link: 7 Nm (62 in-lbs); Brake caliper anchor plate bolts: 150 Nm (111 ft-lbs); Wheel lug nuts: 150 Nm (111 ft-lbs). Do not torque suspension bushing fasteners until the vehicle weight is resting on the wheels and tires.
Minimum air pressure is 5 PSI; maximum air pressure is 35 PSI. You must maintain at least the minimum pressure at all times to prevent the air spring from being pinched. Never inflate beyond the maximum pressure. Failure to maintain correct minimum pressure, bottoming out, over-extension, or rubbing against another component will void the warranty.

Yes, the vehicle can be lifted on a hoist for short-term service work such as tire rotation or oil changes. However, if the vehicle will be on the hoist for a prolonged period of time, support the axle with jack stands to take the tension off the air springs.
Use a soapy water solution of 1 part liquid dish soap and 4 parts water to check all air line connections and the inflation valve core before deflating and removing the air spring. Apply the solution to all valve cores, fittings, and connections to identify leaks. If pressure has dropped more than 5 PSI after initial installation, retest for leaks.
A tee air line installation is recommended for most applications. Use dual air lines only if the weight in the vehicle varies from one side to the other and unequal pressures are needed to level the load or compensate for axle torque transfer in racing applications.
Always add air to springs in small quantities, checking the pressure frequently. Sleeves require less air volume than a tire and inflate quickly. Start with the vehicle level or slightly above. A rough or harsh ride may be due to either too much pressure or not enough pressure in the air springs. Try different pressures to determine the best ride comfort for your vehicle.
Stability issues include roll control, bounce, dive during braking, and sponginess. Tuning out these problems usually requires an increase in pressure in the air springs. Stability translates into safety and should be the priority, meaning the driver may need to sacrifice a perfectly level and comfortable ride.
If the front of the vehicle dives while braking, increase the pressure in the front air bags, if equipped.
If it is suspected that the air springs have bottomed out, increase the pressure in the air springs. Bottoming out occurs when the air spring compresses completely and contacts the upper spring seat or other components.
