Both kits use black nylon air lines and have identical installation procedures. You can identify which kit you have by examining the roll plates: silver zinc-plated indicates standard, and black powder-coated indicates Ultimate.

The LoadLifter 5000 series provides up to 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg) of load-leveling support with air adjustability from 5–100 PSI (0.34–7 BAR). The air springs are manufactured with reinforced, commercial-grade convolute bellows with layers of rubber and cords that control growth.
Required tools include: standard and metric open-end or box wrenches (set), ratchet, standard and metric regular and deep-well sockets (set), 5/16" drill bit (very sharp), heavy-duty drill, torque wrench, standard and metric hex-key wrenches (set), hose cutter or razor blade or sharp knife, hoist or floor jacks, two safety stands, safety glasses, air compressor or compressed air source, and spray bottle with dish soap/water solution.
You must remove the factory jounce bumpers and cups from the frame before installation. Additionally, you will need to temporarily remove the stock M8 hardware holding the brake/ABS and emergency brake line brackets to the spring perches to allow installation of the lower brackets. These brackets are then reattached using the provided M8 flange bolts.
You must lift the vehicle and support the frame with safety stands, leaving enough room to drop the axle down low enough to install the air spring assemblies into position between the axle and the frame. Yes. You must trim the brake/ABS line holder that is closest to the axle on the driver's (left) side so that it does not chafe on the air spring. Trim the outboard open slot on the plastic line holder using a hack saw or side cutters. This prevents the air spring from being damaged by the line holder during suspension movement.
Yes. On the driver's (left) side spring perch, you must use the 5/16"-18 x 3/4" self-tapping screw (part M) to create threads in the round hole at the front of the spring perch. Start the bolt perpendicular to the perch and use a ratchet and socket to drive it in, creating the threads. Then remove the bolt for later use. If the passenger's (right) side does not have an emergency brake cable bracket and mounting bolt (has an open hole instead), repeat this self-tapping process on that side as well.
The frame brackets (parts B and C) are attached to the frame using M10 hex-cap screws (part P) and lock washers (part S). Torque these bolts to 35 lb.-ft. (47 Nm). The bracket must be parallel to the ridge under the frame rail, and the flange must be on the inside of the frame.
After the clamp bar is snug to the axle, torque all spring perch hardware to 20 lb.-ft. (27 Nm). This includes the M8 flange bolts (part Q) and the 5/16" bolts used to secure the lower brackets to the spring perches.

Choose one of three locations for the Schrader valve: inside the fuel tank filler door, inside rear wheel wells, or in the license plate or rear bumper area. Drill a 5/16" (8mm) hole if necessary. Install the Schrader valve through the hole using the provided hardware: hex nut, flat washer, star washer, and rubber washer. The nylon air line connects to the valve from the inside of the vehicle.
Cut the air line in half using a razor blade or hose cutter, making clean, square cuts (do not use scissors or wire cutters). Use zip ties to secure the air line to fixed points along the chassis.
