Yes, but the installation method differs. Trucks with fifth-wheel hitch brackets along the frame rail use self-tapping screws (part P) to attach upper brackets instead of U-bolts. Drill two 5/16" holes through the frame bottom using the bracket holes as a template and torque all four fasteners to 15 lb.-ft. (20 Nm).
Required tools include: standard and metric open-end or box wrenches, adjustable wrench, ratchet with 10 mm and 9/16" deep-well sockets, 3/8" nut driver, T40 Torx bit, torque wrench, standard and metric hex head wrenches, hose cutter/razor blade/sharp knife, hoist or floor jacks, safety stands, safety glasses, air compressor or compressed air source, and spray bottle with dish soap/water solution.
Raise and support the vehicle using safety stands or equivalent so that the axle can be safely dropped away from the frame. This clearance is necessary to position the air spring assemblies between the axles and frame. Ensure the vehicle is properly supported before beginning installation.
Yes. Using a 10 mm deep socket, remove the jounce bumpers from both sides of the vehicle and discard them. This is required as part of the Getting Started procedure.
The two M8-1.25 x 50 hex head cap screws (part K) that reattach the upper brake line bracket should be torqued to 10 lb.-ft. (14 Nm).
The M8 hardware (parts J, L, and M) used to attach the brake line bracket to the brake line tab bracket should be torqued to 16 lb.-ft. (22 Nm).
1. Place a 3/8"-16 x 3" carriage bolt (part O) through the inner most square hole on the rear side of each lower bracket (B). 2. Install a lower bracket (B) and roll plate (F) on each air spring (E) using two 3/8"-24 x 3/4" flat head socket cap screws (S) through the innermost mounting holes, torqued to no more than 20 lb.-ft. (27 Nm). The radiused edge of the roll plate should face the air spring. 3. Install the 90-degree swivel elbow fitting (R) into the top of each air spring finger tight, then tighten an additional one and a half turns. 4. Attach the upper roll plates (F) and upper brackets (A) using two 3/8"-24 x 7/8" bolts (T), two 3/8" lock washers (U), and two 3/8" flat washers (V), torqued to no more than 20 lb.-ft. (27 Nm). 5. Ensure the swivel fitting is less than 7/8" in height after bracket installation.
The 3/8" flange nuts (part N) on the carriage bolts (part O) at the front and rear square holes of the lower bracket should be torqued evenly to 16 lb.-ft. (22 Nm).
1. Place U-bolts (part I) over the frame on both sides of the vehicle. 2. Lower the vehicle or raise the axle while inserting the threaded portions of the U-bolts through the corresponding holes in the upper brackets (A). Install flange nuts (N) finger tight. 3. Adjust the upper bracket (A) as needed to vertically align the air spring with the frame or as close to perpendicular as possible. 4. Torque all flange nuts (N) to 16 lb.-ft. (27 Nm).
Once the upper brackets are in position, drill two 5/16" holes through the bottom of the frame using the holes in the middle of the bracket (just forward and behind the jounce bumper mounting cups) as a template. Attach the upper brackets using self-tapping screws (part P) and torque all four fasteners to 15 lb.-ft. (20 Nm). Then reattach the wire harness guards on the front side of the axle and tighten securely.
Drilling is required only for trucks with fifth-wheel hitch brackets alongside the frame rail. You must drill two 5/16" holes through the frame bottom to attach the upper brackets using self-tapping screws. For trucks without fifth-wheel hitches, U-bolts are used and no drilling is required.
Recommended locations for Schrader valves are: inside the fuel tank filler door, inside rear wheel wells, or the license plate or rear bumper area. For LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus kits specifically, the recommended location is the rear bumper area or license plate. Drill a 5/16" (8 mm) hole at the chosen location if necessary.
1. Cut the air line in half using a razor blade or hose cutter, making clean, square cuts. Do not use scissors or wire cutters. 2. Use zip ties to secure the air line to fixed points along the chassis without pinching or kinking it. The minimum bend radius is 1" (25 mm). Leave at least 2" (50 mm) of slack to allow for movement. 3. Install the Schrader valve in the chosen location. Keep at least 6" (150 mm) clearance between all air lines and the exhaust system and avoid sharp bends and edges.

Yes. Using a T40 Torx bit, remove the two outermost Torx head screws on both wire harness guards, located on the front side of the axle. After installing the air springs and upper brackets, reattach the wire harness guards on the front side of the axle and tighten securely.
Yes. Remove the brake line bracket attached to the axle under the leaf spring on both sides of the vehicle and set the bolt aside for reinstallation. Attach the brake line tab bracket (G) using the factory hardware previously removed and tighten securely on both sides. Then attach the brake line bracket to the brake line tab bracket using M8 hardware (J, L, and M), torqued to 16 lb.-ft. (22 Nm).
The forward clamp bracket (C) is positioned on the front side of the axle and aligns with a hole on the front of the lower bracket (B) to help secure the air spring assembly in position.
