The LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate offers greater leveling strength for towing and hauling with 7-inch double-bellows air springs and up to 7,500 lbs. load-leveling capacity. The fully adjustable kit helps support the most significant loads.
The LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate offers support for the heaviest tows with an internal jounce bumper, absorbing shock for the smoothest ride. Air Lift’s fully adjustable, industry-leading air springs are the perfect upgrade for your vehicle, eliminating any issues you might face when towing and hauling. Installing Air Lift’s LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate makes towing and hauling with select Ford F-250 and F-350, four-wheel drive, and select Ford F-450, four-wheel-drive non-commercial chassis, a breeze. Adding this air spring kit eliminates many issues associated with towing and hauling, like squat, bottoming out, trailer sway and body roll. The air spring kit is designed with an internal jounce bumper that allows the springs to run safely with zero air pressure. The LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate and its design offer 7,500 lbs. of load-leveling capacity, absorbs shock, and are fully adjustable for when you are, or aren’t, hauling and towing. The closed-cell urethane foam jounce bumper inside the air spring provides a cushion of air that absorbs shock, eliminates harsh jarring on rough roads, and protects vehicles carrying heavy loads. An Air Lift exclusive, the kit features upper and lower roll plates for added protection. All end caps are made with an ultra-high-strength nylon composite formula, strong as steel but much lighter and corrosion-proof. The air springs are built like tires, reinforced with 2-ply fabric for maximum strength. With the added stability that air springs provide, you can haul safely, knowing that you have optimal braking and steering control. The LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate has up to 20% more air spring volume when compared to Air Lift’s LoadLifter 5000 series. Drilling is required only if you have an aftermarket fifth-wheel hitch with side plates that do not have existing attaching hardware in the frame slot. In that case, you must drill a 1/2" hole through the plate using the slot in the frame as a template, positioned as far to the rear of the slot as possible. You must clear any electrical or hard lines from the area before drilling to avoid damage. For vehicles without a fifth-wheel hitch or with the standard factory Reese hitch, no drilling is required.
Only if your truck has emission lines running along the inside of the frame rail. If equipped, you must carefully push the line holder out of the frame above the axle and save it for reuse. Remove any emissions/fuel line retaining clips and electrical wire loom retaining clips forward or rearward of the axle to aid in positioning the lines once the upper brace is installed. You will reattach the line holder using the supplied L-bracket (part 10886) attached to the back frame brace.
Torque the 3/8"-16 x 1 1/4" carriage bolts (O) to 15 lb.-ft. (20 Nm). Cap them with 3/8" flat washers (V) and 3/8"-16 nylon lock nuts (U) on both sides.

This condition is normal and acceptable. Once the leaf spring U-bolt hardware is torqued to 10 lb.-ft. (14 Nm), the upper and lower brackets will not be parallel and may look like they are out of alignment. This is by design because of the way the lower bracket and upper bracket mounts are designed. Some variance from one unit to another is considered normal.
It may be necessary on some models to not tighten the axle clamp bar evenly on the passenger's (right) side so that the clamp bar will clear the hard brake line. Tighten the bolts unevenly if needed to avoid pinching the brake line. Do not pinch the hard brake line while tightening.
If the cup does not sit on the jounce bumper strike plate correctly with the flanges touching the strike plate on both the front and back side, the cup swivels on the main plate. Rotate or move the cup to obtain the correct seating condition. The cup must be nested onto the jounce bumper strike plate properly for correct installation.
If the connector broke during disassembly, zip tie it to the bracket instead of pushing it back into the gas/DEF tank mounting hole. This prevents further damage and maintains electrical connections.
