ARIES 3" side bars add a custom look and dependable footing to your truck, Jeep or SUV. They feature a classic style, a strong design and non-skid step pads. ARIES nerf bars are all made vehicle-specific for a custom, no-drill fit, and they are available in multiple finish options. This set of nerf bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. Our 304 stainless steel is a true stainless with high nickel content, offering better corrosion resistance and a long-lasting finish. The polish is a triple application, resulting in a mirror-like shine to complement your vehicle. ARIES 3" round side bars also come with high-strength steel brackets and non-skid step pads. The mounting brackets -- as well as the side bars and step pads -- are custom-designed for specific makes and models to allow the nerf bars to contour to the lines of your vehicle. This ensures easy, no-drill installation and the strength necessary to provide solid footing. This particular set of custom nerf bars fits specific years of the Ford F150 and Lincoln Mark LT (see application info to verify fitment). ARIES 3" round side bars also come with non-skid step pads made of polypropylene. These wide, custom-positioned step pads feature a textured pattern and cover a wide portion of the tubes to be more comfortable and high-traction, even in wet conditions.

The kit includes: 1 driver/left side bar, 1 passenger/right side bar, 2 front mounting brackets, 2 rear mounting brackets, 8 clip-on nuts (M10), 16 lock washers (M10), 16 flat washers (M10 × 24mm), 8 nuts (M10), 16 hex bolts (M10 × 35mm), 8 flat washers (M10 × 20mm), 8 hex bolts (M8 × 25mm), 8 lock washers (M8), and 8 flat washers (M8 × 24mm).
Required tools are: ratchet, tape measure, 13mm socket, 16mm wrench, 16mm socket, 6mm hex bit, and level.

Wax the product after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as these could damage the finish. For gloss black finishes, mild soap may be used to clean the product. Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight.
Yes. The mounting brackets are specific to front or rear mounting locations and cannot be interchanged. When mounting the brackets, position the cradle facing towards the middle of the truck for proper placement.
The measurement from the end of the side bar to the center of the rivet nut should be about 15 1/2". Use this measurement to determine which end is the front before mounting.
Remove the factory tape covering the mounting holes on the inner rocker panel. There are three mounting locations along the rocker panel; this installation uses the front and rear mounting locations.
1. Locate the three mounting locations on the driver side rocker panel. 2. Remove factory tape from the mounting holes. 3. Insert M10 clip-nuts onto each mounting location on the inner rocker panel. 4. Attach the front bracket by threading two M10 hex bolts with lock washers and large flat washers into the clip-nuts. 5. Insert an M10 hex bolt and large flat washer into the bottom mounting holes and secure with a small M10 flat washer, lock washer and nut. Snug but do not fully tighten. 6. Repeat for the rear bracket. 7. Mount the driver-side bar and attach to the bracket using M8 bolts, lock washers and flat washers. Snug but do not fully tighten. 8. Repeat the entire process for the passenger side. 9. Level and adjust the side bars to the desired position and tighten all hardware.
No. During Steps 2 and 3, snug the hardware but do not fully tighten. Similarly, when attaching the side bar in Step 6, snug the hardware but do not fully tighten. Only fully tighten all hardware after leveling and adjusting the side bars to the desired position in Step 7.
M8 bolts should be torqued to 7 ft.-lbs.
M10 bolts should be torqued to 16 ft.-lbs.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. The manual does not specify the inspection interval.
