ARIES 3" side bars add a custom look and dependable footing to your truck, Jeep or SUV. They feature a classic style, a strong design and non-skid step pads. ARIES nerf bars are all made vehicle-specific for a custom, no-drill fit, and they are available in multiple finish options. This set of nerf bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. Our 304 stainless steel is a true stainless with high nickel content, offering better corrosion resistance and a long-lasting finish. The polish is a triple application, resulting in a mirror-like shine to complement your vehicle. ARIES 3" round side bars also come with high-strength steel brackets and non-skid step pads. The mounting brackets -- as well as the side bars and step pads -- are custom-designed for specific makes and models to allow the nerf bars to contour to the lines of your vehicle. This ensures easy, no-drill installation and the strength necessary to provide solid footing. This particular set of custom nerf bars fits specific years of the Ford F150 (see application info to verify fitment). ARIES 3" round side bars also come with non-skid step pads made of polypropylene. These wide, custom-positioned step pads feature a textured pattern and cover a wide portion of the tubes to be more comfortable and high-traction, even in wet conditions.

Each side of the vehicle requires one bracket with one cradle facing left and one facing right. The cradles face inward toward the vehicle. The front brackets are shorter than the rear brackets, so ensure you use the correct bracket at each location.
The mounting holes in the side bar that are closest to the end of the board should face the front of the vehicle.
1. Locate the two mounting locations on the driver side along the bottom edge. 2. Insert M10 clip nuts into the rectangular hole and secure the front bracket with M10 hex bolts, lock washers and flat washers from the top. 3. Secure the bracket from the bottom with M10 hex bolts and flat washers, then M10 lock washers, small flat washers and hex nuts on top. 4. Repeat for the rear bracket. 5. Place the side bar onto the brackets and secure with four M8 bolts, lock washers and flat washers—snug but do not fully tighten. 6. Adjust the side bar to desired location. 7. Tighten all bracket fasteners first, then the side bar connections. 8. Repeat steps 1–7 on the passenger side.
