ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel, meaning high nickel content to be truly stainless. They easily resist rust and corrosion and feature a highly polished finish that is made to last. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. These nerf bars fit select model years of the Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 (see application info to verify fitment).

Yes. At the front, remove the factory body bolt and washer (which are not reused). At the rear, remove the factory body bolt, isolator, and washer. The isolator is reused at the rear mounting location. The front factory hardware is discarded.
Yes. The vehicle has factory oval holes in the inner body panels at the front and rear on both the passenger and driver sides. These holes are covered with tape and must be uncovered during installation. No drilling is required.

Install the passenger/right side first, then repeat the same steps for the driver/left side. For each side, work front to rear: (1) install the front bolt plate and brace bracket, (2) install the front mounting bracket, (3) install the rear bolt plate and brace bracket, (4) install the rear mounting bracket, (5) attach the sidebar bar to both mounting brackets. Snug all hardware during assembly, then level and align the sidebar before final tightening.
Thread a plastic retainer onto the threaded end of a bolt plate. Insert the bolt plate into the factory oval hole. Hold the bolt end with one hand and tighten the plastic retainer with your other hand until it reaches the side panel. Do not over-tighten.
