ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel, meaning high nickel content to be truly stainless. They easily resist rust and corrosion and feature a highly polished finish that is made to last. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. These nerf bars fit select model years of the Ford Excursion, F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment).

1. Locate the two mounting points underneath the driver side. 2. Place the front driver-side bracket with the cradle facing the rear. 3. Secure the top with two clip nuts in the rectangular slots and two M8 hex bolts, lock washers and flat washers (snug only). 4. Secure the lower mounting points with two M8 bolts, four flat washers, two lock washers and two hex nuts. 5. Repeat for the rear bracket. 6. Place the side bar on the brackets and align mounting points. 7. Secure with M10 hex bolts, lock washers and flat washers at each point (snug only). 8. Adjust and level the side bar. 9. Tighten all bracket fasteners to the vehicle first, then the side bar connections. 10. Repeat the entire process on the passenger side.
Do not fully tighten hardware as you install it. Snug the bracket fasteners and side bar connection bolts, then adjust and level the side bar. Once the side bar is level and properly positioned, tighten all bracket fasteners to the vehicle first, followed by the side bar connections to their final torque values.
M8 bolts must be torqued to 7 ft.-lbs.
