Gooseneck equipment is the brand's signature. Gooseneck hitches mount in the truck bed over the rear axle, which places the load where the chassis can carry it properly and allows far tighter turning than a receiver hitch permits. Matching gooseneck couplers attach at the trailer end, in round tube and square configurations across the capacity range used by livestock, equipment and flatbed trailers.
The conventional trailer coupler range is built around the Wedge-Latch mechanism, which uses a wedge to take up wear between coupler and ball rather than relying on a fixed clamp that loosens over time. That matters on a trailer accumulating hard miles, where slack in the coupling shows up as noise and shock loading. Couplers are offered in A-frame form for standard tongues and in channel-mount form for straight tongue and fabricated frames, with adjustable channel versions that let a coupler be positioned to suit the tongue height.
Heavy-duty jacks complete the line, sized for the tongue weights that gooseneck and equipment trailers generate. A tongue jack is a lifting device mounted to a trailer tongue that raises and lowers the front of the trailer for coupling, uncoupling, and ground clearance adjustment. These jacks are designed for vertical loading only and are available in multiple mounting styles (bolt-on, weld-on, snap ring, bolt-thru, A-plate, direct-mount, and pivot tube) with side-wind or top-wind handle configurations.

Torque all mounting bolts to 25 ft. lbs. (3.5 m/kg). This applies to both rack jack gear housing bolts and bolt-on mounting bracket bolts.
When bolting the jack A-plate to the coupler, use three 3/8-16 grade 5 bolts with washers and torque to 15-20 ft. lbs. (2-2.7 m/kg).

Welding is required only for weld-on mounting styles (direct-mount, A-plate weld-on, and pivot tube weld-on). Bolt-on, snap ring, and bolt-thru models do not require welding. All welding must be performed by an AWS certified welder.
No. Do not attempt to weld bolt-on brackets or straps to the tongue. Special brackets are available for weld-on applications. Use only the bolt-on method for these brackets.
For direct-mount installation, all welding must be performed by an AWS certified welder. Weld 1 inch in 2 locations on both sides of the jack using a 3/16 inch fillet weld.
For A-plate installations, use a 3/16 inch fillet weld to attach the A-plate to the jack (if separate) and to weld the recommended support plate to the bottom of the trailer frame. All welding must be performed by an AWS certified welder.
For weld-on pivot tube mounting (round or square), place the pivot tube against the tongue and weld all around with a 3/16 inch fillet weld. The non-beveled side of the pivot tube is welded to the tongue unless otherwise specified on hardware. All welding must be performed by an AWS certified welder.
To attach a snap ring model jack, place the jack bracket over the mount and place the snap ring in the groove. Seat the snap ring fully into the groove. Before installing the snap ring, inspect the snap ring groove and remove any debris.
To attach a bolt-thru model jack, place the jack bracket into the recessed opening on the mount. Place the small end of the bushing into the jack bracket and onto the bolt. Tighten the locknut until there is little movement in the bushing. The bolt should be installed between the trailer tongue and mount; the jack bracket will be held by the bushing between the locknut and the mount.
For side-wind models, insert the long spacer into the roller, followed by the thin spacer and the bolt. Secure to the crank stem with the nut provided.
For top-wind models, place the washer over the screw stem and then place the handle over the screw stem. Secure the handle to the screw stem with the bolt and nut provided.
To attach a wheel assembly, insert the long spacer into the wheel. Set the wheel into the caster body and place the bolt through the caster body and wheel. Secure with the nut provided.
For heavy duty caster installation, use 4 3/8 inch bolts, washers, and locknuts as shown in the manual. Note that jack capacity is limited to the lesser of the jack or caster capacity.
Mate the jack to the pivot tube and secure with the supplied pin. Ensure the pivot pin is fully inserted through both sides of the pivot tube and the pivot mount before using the jack.
When using the drop foot or drop leg, make certain the supplied pin is fully inserted through both sides of the inner tube and the drop tube before using the jack. Never attempt to adjust the drop foot or drop leg when there is any load on the jack.
Fully retract and rotate the jack before towing. If using an optional drop foot or caster, always remove the drop foot or caster before towing to maximize ground clearance.
Never exceed the maximum rated capacity. Refer to the stamped markings or decals on the product to obtain the rated capacity. Operator and bystanders should never position any part of body under any portion of the product or the load being supported. Secure the load, vehicle, and trailer from rolling (by blocking wheels) when operating the jack or coupling the trailer. Do not allow children to play on or around the product or the load being supported. Before manually moving the trailer, crank the jack to the lowest position.
No. This product is not intended to be used as a transport device for the implement it is attached to. Minimize movement of the implement while the jack is under load.
If the product is a swivel jack, lock the plunger pin into a hole in the mounting bracket before raising or lowering the tongue.
If the product is a rack jack, do not raise the gear housing above the inner tube. This will prevent damage to the jack mechanism.
The following procedures should be performed at least annually. For side-wind models, apply a small amount of automotive grease to the internal gearing by removing the jack cover or using a needle nose applicator or standard grease gun on the lubrication point found on the side of the jack near the crank.
