The components of this CURT 30K puck system gooseneck kit easily drop into the truck bed pucks, instantly equipping the truck for gooseneck towing. The kit includes a gooseneck ball, safety chain anchors, a rubber hole cover and a durable storage case. It fits select model years of the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD, Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD and Nissan Titan XD (see application info verify fitment). It is rated for 30,000 lbs. GTW and 7,500 lbs. vertical load. The OEM puck system gooseneck ball perfectly fits into the center ball hole and provides a 2-5/16" ball to fit most standard gooseneck trailers. It features with a patented installation system, operating with a simple quarter-turn latch lock for ease of use and a secure mount. Retention balls, built into the shank, keep the gooseneck ball fixed into the receiver hole and keep your trailer locked on tight. Also included in the kit are CURT OEM puck system gooseneck safety chain anchors. Like the gooseneck ball, these patented anchors are made specifically for Chevrolet, Ford, GMC or Nissan Titan XD pickup trucks with the puck system and provide a reliable connection for your gooseneck trailer. They feature a simple drop-in installation system with no tools required, and they offer large safety chain loops to accept heavy-duty clevis hooks. These safety chain anchors are constructed from heavy-duty, cast steel and have a highly durable powder coat finish. Finally, this gooseneck puck system kit includes a tough rubber hole cover to keep water, dirt, grime and rust out of the gooseneck ball hole. The cover installs with a friction fit and helps extend the life of your gooseneck hitch. We also include a durable plastic storage case with each kit to keep the components protected and together for easy storage. The case can be stored inside your truck or truck bed tool box to keep the ball and anchors on-hand whenever you need them.

This CURT 60692 kit is designed to fit 2016-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD, 2013-2026 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty, 2016-2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD, and 2016-2024 Nissan TITAN XD models. Your truck must have the factory OEM puck system already installed for this kit to work. Always double-check your specific year, make, and model before ordering to ensure proper fitment.
Absolutely! The CURT 60692 is specifically designed for 2016-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD trucks, so your 2021 model is perfectly covered. Just make sure your truck has the factory puck system in the bed, and you'll be all set for 30,000 lbs of towing capacity.
Yes, your 2026 Silverado 2500 HD is covered by this kit's fitment range of 2016-2026 models. Since 2026 is the last model year listed for Chevrolet applications, you're getting the most current version available. This kit will give you the full 30,000 lbs GTW and 7,500 lbs vertical load capacity your heavy-duty truck is built for.
Installation is incredibly simple with this puck system kit - it's literally a drop-in design that requires zero tools! The gooseneck ball uses a quarter-turn latch system to lock into place, and the safety chain anchors just drop right into the puck holes. The whole setup takes just minutes and comes with a rubber hole cover and storage case to keep everything organized.
The kit includes: 2 safety chain anchors, 2 × 10mm pins, 2 × 5mm lynch pins, 1 gooseneck ball (part 60629), 1 rubber cover (66155), and 1 storage case. All components are designed to work with an OEM puck receiver system installed in the truck bed.
The 60629 gooseneck ball is designed for trucks with an OEM puck receiver system installed in the truck bed. You must verify that your truck has this receiver before purchasing. The manual does not specify which vehicle makes and models are compatible; contact CURT at 1.877.287.8634 or visit CURTMFG.COM for fitment confirmation.
There must be a minimum clearance of 6 inches between the bottom of the trailer overhang and the top of the truck box sides. You must also verify adequate turning clearance between the truck cab and box corners and the trailer. Check these clearances before towing for the first time.
1. Lift the handle from its seat and rotate 90°. 2. Insert the gooseneck ball into the receiver tube in the truck bed. 3. Rotate the handle to the locked position and flip it down into its seat. The handle must match the ball profile while in the locked position. If the handle does not freely rotate, rotate the ball while applying light pressure to the side of the handle until it seats properly.
1. Align each safety chain anchor with the rear-most under-bed mount on both sides of the truck. 2. Lower the anchor into the under-bed mount and rotate 90 degrees. 3. Insert the 10mm pin into the top of the safety chain anchor. 4. Lock into position using the 5mm lynch pin. Both pins must be fully inserted and engaged. Always install both safety chain anchors in the rear-most under-bed mounts.
The manual specifies that both safety chain anchors must always be installed in the rear-most under-bed mounts. This positioning is critical for proper load distribution and safety during towing. Do not install them in any other location.
Remove both the gooseneck ball and safety chain anchors from their mounts and store them in the provided case in a dry, clean area. When the gooseneck ball is removed, place the rubber cover (66155) in the gooseneck receiver to keep dirt and contaminants out.
Keep the 60629 gooseneck ball, receiver, trailer coupler, and 60691 safety chain anchor pins lubricated using silicone spray or equivalent to prevent wear and rust. Keep all components free of dirt and other foreign debris. Periodically check all gooseneck components to ensure fasteners are tight and structural components are sound. Failure to maintain the towing system could result in poor performance and/or catastrophic failure.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The manual does not specify a capacity for the 60692 kit itself. You must verify the towing capacity of your specific vehicle and ensure the trailer weight does not exceed any part of the towing system. Contact CURT or your vehicle manufacturer for capacity information.
No. Do not tow more than one trailer at a time. This may cause loss of control.
Before towing for the first time, verify: adequate turning clearance between truck cab/box corners and trailer(s); minimum 6" clearance between trailer overhang and truck box sides; all anchors are properly installed and secured with lynch pins; trailer safety chain length (only enough slack to allow full turning without interference); trailer attachments to safety chain anchors are secure; safety chains and hooks are rated to trailer load capacity; all fasteners are tight and structural components are sound; trailer weight does not exceed towing system capacity and is heavier towards front of trailer; load is secured and centered left to right; tires are inflated to proper specification; and trailer lights, electric brakes and breakaway switches are working properly.
Before towing every time, verify: adequate turning clearance between truck cab/box corners and trailer(s); minimum 6" clearance between trailer overhang and truck box sides; all anchors are properly installed and secured with lynch pins; trailer safety chain length (only enough slack to allow full turning without interference); trailer attachments to safety chain anchors are secure; safety chains and hooks are rated to trailer load capacity; all fasteners are tight and structural components are sound; trailer weight does not exceed towing system capacity and is heavier towards front of trailer; load is secured and centered left to right; tires are inflated to proper specification; and trailer lights, electric brakes and breakaway switches are working properly.
Ensure the trailer weight does not exceed any part of the towing system. Load must be heavier towards the front of the trailer while not exceeding the hitch vertical weight rating. Never load the trailer heavier behind the trailer axle(s). Ensure the load is secured to prevent shifting and centered from left to right.
Vehicle performance, such as braking, handling, acceleration and turning radius, can be drastically affected by the trailer. Allow additional time and space for stopping, changing lanes, passing and turning. Severe bumps can damage the towing system, so avoid or drive slowly over rough terrain.
Failure to maintain the towing system could result in poor performance and/or catastrophic failure. You must periodically check all gooseneck components to ensure fasteners are tight and structural components are sound. Keep components lubricated, free of dirt and debris, and do not tow with worn or damaged parts.
