The CURT SecureLatch lunette ring offers enhanced security and maximum versatility. Its integrated locking pin helps prevent coupling and theft when your trailer is left unattended, featuring holes in the bottom to accept a padlock. The pin can also be turned 90 degrees to allow you to hitch up your trailer. This lunette ring also offers maximum height adjustment, featuring an offset base. The ring can be flipped for more drop or rise as needed. The CURT SecureLatch lunette ring is intended to fit an 11-3/4-inch x 3-inch inside width channel (sold separately). It has a two-hole bolt pattern. The lunette ring itself has a 3-inch inside diameter to couple to a pintle hook or ball and pintle combination, and it is rated for up to 25,000 pounds gross trailer weight. This SecureLatch lunette eyelet is made from cast iron for dependable strength, and it features a durable, dark grey teridium powder coat finish for resistance to the elements.

Yes. The 48625 is a channel-mount lunette eye that must be secured to a trailer channel-mount lunette ring, which is sold separately. The lunette ring is the component that physically connects to your trailer.
The 48625 is rated for a gross trailer weight (GTW) of 25,000 lbs. on-road. For off-road applications, reduce this capacity by 25% (to 18,750 lbs.). Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, whichever is lower.

1. Remove the padlock from the locking pin. 2. Lift and turn the locking pin 90 degrees to the side to the unlocked position. 3. Reinsert the padlock to keep the locking pin secure during travel. The locking pin must be in the unlocked position before hooking up the trailer.
Drop the locking pin into the locked position (straight down) and install a padlock (not included) through the locking pin hole. The locking pin can still be used when the lunette ring is in the drop position.
Maintain adequate vertical down (tongue) load of approximately 10% of the trailer's gross weight to have proper control of the trailer. However, do not exceed the specified rated capacities of the vehicle or towing component.
