Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Part number 25007 is designed for Honda Accord. However, compatibility depends on model year, sub-model, and trim level. Visit www.horizonglobal.com for the most current application information for your specific vehicle.
The 25007 is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight (GTW) of 2000 lb (907 kg) and maximum tongue weight of 200 lb (90.7 kg). However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The lowest capacity of any component in your towing system—trailer, hitch, or vehicle—determines the maximum safe load.
You will need: ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, 10mm/12mm/13mm sockets, socket extension, Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, 1/2" drill bit, drill, plastic trim tools, marker, tape measure, utility knife, tape, and silicone sealant.
Yes. You must drill a 1/2" hole through the vehicle frame to accommodate the carriage bolt that secures the hitch to the frame.
1. Remove fascia (wheel well liner screws, taillight trim, fascia bolts, plastic rivets, underbody panel screws). 2. Remove bumper using 12mm socket to remove four M8 factory bolts per side. 3. Install hitch by pushing metal piece under bumper plate flush, aligning bumper beam, and attaching with supplied M8 bolts. 4. Drill 1/2" hole through frame and install carriage bolt assembly. 5. Trim fascia and underbody panel in areas shown in figures. 6. Reinstall fascia, underbody panel, and all fasteners.
All M8 fasteners must be tightened to 20 Ft.-Lb. (27 N·M) using a torque wrench.
All 7/16" fasteners (carriage bolt, conical washer, and hex nut) must be tightened to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N·M) using a torque wrench.
Fastener kit 25007F includes: (8) M8 x 1.25 x 35mm CL 9.8 bolts, (2) 7/16"-14 x 1.75 GR5 carriage bolts, (2) 1/4" x 7/8" x 3" spacers, (2) 7/16" conical washers, (2) 7/16"-14 hex nuts, and (2) 7/16" pull wires.
Using a 1/2" drill bit, locate and drill a hole through the bracket on the bottom of the frame. Feed the carriage bolt and spacer through the access hole using the supplied pull wires. Remove the pull wires and loosely install the conical washer and hex nut onto the hitch. The conical washer teeth side must face against the hitch. Finally, tighten all 7/16" fasteners to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N·M).
The pull wires are used to feed the carriage bolt and spacer through the frame access hole during installation. After the bolt and spacer are in position, the pull wires are removed.
No. The four M8 factory bolts removed from the bumper plate should be returned to the vehicle owner. The hitch is attached using supplied M8 bolts instead.
Two areas must be trimmed: (1) the fascia in the area shown in Figure 4, and (2) the underbody panel in the area shown in Figure 5. Use a utility knife or appropriate trim tools to remove material in these areas to accommodate the hitch.
Always wear safety glasses during installation. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water and exhaust fume entry.
Check that all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Regularly check that all fasteners remain tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure when towing.
Check the hitch frequently, ensuring all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Regular inspection is necessary to ensure hitch towing capacity and longevity of the product.
Yes. Thread locker can be used on all fasteners for additional security.
A damaged hitch or ball must be removed and replaced. Do not continue to use a damaged hitch.
No. Do not cut, weld, or modify this trailer hitch. Modifications will compromise the hitch integrity and safety.
No. The 25007 is a weight-carrying hitch only. Weight-distributing capacity is listed as N/A. It is not designed for weight-distributing trailers.
The authorized drawbar is part number 3593 (sold separately). The drawbar must be used in the RISE position only.
Yes. The bumper must be removed to install the hitch. Remove the four M8 factory bolts from the bumper plate on each side using a 12mm socket, then carefully remove the bumper beam and set it aside.
Yes. The fascia must be removed to access the bumper and install the hitch. Remove wheel well liner screws, taillight trim, fascia bolts, plastic rivets, and underbody panel screws before removing the fascia.
Before attaching the hitch, push the thin metal piece (shim or spacer) that sits under the bumper plate inward so it is flush (level and aligned) with the end panel on each side of the vehicle. This ensures proper alignment before you attach the bumper beam to the hitch with the supplied M8 bolts.
The conical washer teeth side must face against the hitch. This orientation ensures proper load distribution and security of the fastener.
No. After feeding the carriage bolt and spacer through the frame access hole using the pull wires, loosely install the conical washer and hex nut. Only after removing the pull wires should you tighten all 7/16" fasteners to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N·M) using a torque wrench.
The installation difficulty is rated as Expert. This rating is based on the time and effort required. Difficulty may vary depending on installer expertise, vehicle condition, and availability of proper tools and equipment.

M8 fasteners: 20 Ft.-Lb. (27 N·M). 7/16" fasteners: 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N·M). Use a torque wrench and tighten all fasteners to these specifications.
Fascia and bumper removal, drilling a 1/2" hole through the frame, and trimming the fascia and underbody panel in specified areas are required. These modifications are permanent.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity or the hitch capacity of 2000 lb GTW and 200 lb tongue weight. The lowest capacity of any component in your towing system determines your maximum safe load.
Retighten all fasteners to the prescribed torque specifications: M8 fasteners to 20 Ft.-Lb. (27 N·M) and 7/16" fasteners to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N·M). The manual recommends regularly checking that all fasteners remain tight. For additional security against future loosening, thread locker can be applied to all fasteners.
If the hitch is removed, all holes drilled in the trunk pan or other body panels must be plugged to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. If water or fumes have already entered, seal all holes with appropriate plugs or sealant immediately.
