Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

Yes, the hitch is designed for both AWD (All-Wheel Drive) and FWD (Front-Wheel Drive) Venza models. However, AWD models require additional installation steps: you must remove and reinstall sway bar brackets on both sides using supplied spacer blocks. FWD models do not require this modification.

You will need a 17mm wrench and a torque wrench. The torque wrench is essential because all M10-1.25 x 40mm fasteners must be tightened to exactly 42 lb.-ft. (57 N·m).
Fastener kit 75663F includes: (6) M10-1.25 x 40mm CL 10.9 hex bolts, (6) 3/8" conical toothed washers, and (2) 5/16" x 1" x 1-1/2" block-spacers (for AWD vehicles only). The block-spacers are used to space down the sway bar brackets on AWD models.
Yes. Step 3 of the installation requires you to lower the exhaust by removing four (4) exhaust rubber isolators that support the muffler and tailpipe from hangers. After the hitch is installed and bolted in place, you must raise the exhaust and re-attach the rubber isolators.
1. Remove sway bar brackets from both sides and save the existing nuts. 2. Lower the exhaust by removing four rubber isolators. 3. Raise the hitch into position and install three 10mm bolts and toothed washers per side into the vehicle frame weldnuts. 4. Reinstall the sway bar bracket with the supplied spacer block between the lower vehicle attachment and sway bracket on both sides, using the existing nut. 5. Tighten all bolts to 42 lb.-ft. (57 N·m). 6. Raise the exhaust and re-attach the rubber isolators.

All M10-1.25 x 40mm fasteners must be tightened with a torque wrench to 42 lb.-ft. (57 N·m). There are six fasteners total (three per side). Use a torque wrench to ensure proper tightness; under-tightening or over-tightening can compromise safety.
Three (3) M10-1.25 x 40mm bolts are installed per side, for a total of six bolts. Each bolt is paired with a 3/8" conical toothed washer. The bolts are installed into the vehicle frame weldnuts.
The supplied 5/16" x 1" x 1-1/2" spacer blocks are installed between the lower vehicle attachment and the sway bar bracket on both sides of AWD models. They space the sway bar bracket down to its correct position. The manual emphasizes that it is important to the proper operation of the vehicle to reinstall the sway bar brackets correctly with the spacer blocks as shown in Figure B.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball that has been damaged should be removed and replaced immediately.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify a retorque interval or post-installation inspection checklist beyond this general requirement.
Yes. On AWD models, the existing sway bar brackets are removed, saved, and then reinstalled with the hitch and supplied spacer blocks. The existing nuts that secure the sway bar brackets are also reused. The brackets are not replaced; they are repositioned using the spacer blocks.
Yes. The four exhaust rubber isolators that support the muffler and tailpipe are removed to lower the exhaust during installation, then re-attached after the hitch is bolted in place and tightened. They are not replaced.
