Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

The 76194 is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight of 6000 lb. (2724 kg) and maximum tongue weight of 900 lb. (409 kg). However, you must not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or these limits.
Required tools include: T20 star driver, 15 mm socket, 6 inch socket extension, ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, marker, tape measure, exhaust removal pliers, tin snips, and utility knife.
Fastener kit 76194F includes: (2) conical washers 7/16 inch (Part# 01292007) and (2) bolts M10 1.5×45, CL10.9. These are used if a fourth hole in the bumper is accessible.
Yes. The bumper beam must be removed to install the hitch. Use a T20 star driver to remove screws from the fascia, then use a 15 mm socket to remove flange nuts from the bumper beam on each side. The bumper beam is then raised to sandwich the hitch during installation.
Yes. The fascia must be removed before hitch installation. Use a T20 star driver to remove 4 screws from the bottom fascia and 5 screws (XC90) or 7 screws (XC60) from the wheel well on each side. Open the trunk, remove bump stops on XC60 models, then gently remove the fascia. Unplug 2 wirings (XC90) or 1 wiring (XC60) from the fascia before setting it aside.
Yes. Two trimming operations are required: (1) Trim the heat shield as shown in Figure 3, and (2) Trim the fascia as shown in Figure 6 after marking the center line. On XC60 models only, the fascia mounting tabs must be gently bent to allow clearance for the hitch.
No. On XC90 models, skip the fascia mounting tab bending step. This bending is required only on XC60 models to allow clearance for the hitch.
Yes. On XC60 models, gently bend the fascia mounting tabs as shown in Figure 4 to allow clearance for the hitch. This must be done before the hitch is installed and again after the hitch and bumper are in position to reattach the heat shield and fascia.
All M10 fasteners must be tightened with a torque wrench to 53 Lb.-Ft. (72 N·M). Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Yes. The manual instructs to reuse the flange nuts from the bumper beam when installing the hitch. These fasteners sandwich the hitch between the bumper beam and the end panel studs.
If a fourth hole in the bumper is open and accessible, use fastener kit items j and k (the M10 bolt and conical washer from kit 76194F) to secure that hole. If the fourth hole is not accessible, the hitch can be secured with the three factory flange nuts on each side.
The conical washers must be oriented with the teeth side facing against the hitch. This ensures proper clamping and load distribution.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
After installation, check that all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. The manual recommends checking the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened.
The maximum tongue weight is 900 lb. (409 kg). You must not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or this limit.
Load the trailer heavier in the front. This helps maintain proper weight distribution and towing stability.
If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but recommends periodic verification that all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle.
No. Do not cut, weld, or modify the receiver. Any such modifications will compromise the structural integrity and safety of the hitch.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not attempt to repair a damaged hitch.
The average installation time for professional installers is 65 minutes. If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or are in need of assistance, contact a professional installer.
Yes. The 76194 fits 2016+ Volvo XC90 and 2018+ Volvo XC60. Check www.cequentgroup.com for the most current trim level compatibility.
Maximum gross trailer weight is 6000 lb. (2724 kg) and maximum tongue weight is 900 lb. (409 kg). Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's rating or these limits.
You will need: T20 star driver, 15 mm socket, 6 inch socket extension, ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, marker, tape measure, exhaust removal pliers, tin snips, and utility knife.
No drilling is required. However, trimming of the heat shield and fascia is necessary. On XC60 models, the fascia mounting tabs must be gently bent.
Tighten all M10 fasteners to 53 Lb.-Ft. (72 N·M) using a torque wrench.
Yes. Both the bumper beam and fascia must be removed. The bumper beam is then raised to sandwich the hitch during installation.
Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit. Always wear your seatbelt.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure when towing.
Check that all M10 fasteners have been tightened to the correct torque specification of 53 Lb.-Ft. (72 N·M) using a torque wrench. Verify that all factory flange nuts from the bumper beam are also tight. The manual recommends checking the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners remain properly tightened.
After the hitch and bumper have been placed in position, gently bend the fascia mounting tabs as needed to reattach the heat shield and fascia. After the fascia has been reinstalled, bend the mounting tabs again as needed to align with the fascia. This adjustment is particularly important on XC60 models.
Ensure the hitch is raised into the correct position so that the bracket holes align with the studs on the end panel. The hitch should be sandwiched between the bumper beam and the end panel. If alignment is still difficult, verify that the heat shield and fascia have been trimmed correctly as shown in Figures 3 and 6.
Yes, a compatible bike rack, cargo carrier or other accessory with a 2" x 2" shank can generally be used. Make sure the accessory does not exceed the hitch’s tongue weight rating, the vehicle’s limits or the accessory manufacturer’s capacity. Account for the combined weight of the carrier and everything loaded onto it.
