Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.

(409 kg) for weight-distributing. DO NOT exceed the lower of your towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or these limits.

Yes. The bumper beam must be removed before hitch installation. Using a 21mm socket, remove 3 bolts (Durango) or 4 bolts (Grand Cherokee) from the bumper beam per side. Return the bumper beam and bolts to the vehicle owner.
Yes. The fascia must be removed before hitch installation. This involves removing multiple screws and rivets from the wheel well, brake light area, and fascia-to-bumper beam attachment points. For Durango models, the fascia must also be trimmed along a marked red line while keeping the lower part connected.

All 1/2-13 Gr5 fasteners must be tightened to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch securely mounted to the vehicle when towing.
The hitch includes: 6 pull wires (1/2"), 6 conical tooth washers (1/2"), 6 hex nuts (1/2"-13 GR5), 6 blocks (1/4" x 1.0" x 3.0"), 6 carriage bolts (1/2" – 13 x 1.75), 2 cable ties, and 8 rivets. These are supplied in fastener kit 76432F.
Using pull wire, feed the carriage bolt and spacer into the frame rails and bracket holes from the end panel opening. Kink the pull wire to keep the spacer independent of the bolt. Remove pull wires and loosely install the conical washer (teeth side against hitch) and hex nut to the hitch. Do not fully tighten until all fasteners are in place.
The conical washer must be installed with the teeth side against the hitch. This orientation is shown in Figure 1 of the installation instructions.
Remove the fascia door prior to reinstalling the fascia. Reinstall all hardware and fascia removed in steps 1–3. Use the 8 rivets provided to reinstall the fascia. Secure the fascia by attaching it to the hitch center section with a cable tie.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. Do not cut, weld, or modify the receiver. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water and exhaust fume entry.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Periodically verify that the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. If the hitch is damaged, it must be removed and replaced.
