Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.

Maximum gross trailer weight is 6000 lb. (2722 kg) and maximum tongue weight is 900 lb. (408 kg). Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's rating or these limits.
This is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight of 6000 lb. (2722 kg) and maximum tongue weight of 900 lb. (408 kg). Weight-distributing specifications are listed as N/A in the manual.
Required tools: ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, 10mm and 18mm sockets, 6-inch socket extension, flat head screwdriver, wire brush, exhaust removal pliers, channellock pliers, and soapy water.
Fastener Kit 76513F includes: (8) M12×1.25×40 CL10.9 bolts and (8) 1/2-inch conical washers. These are the only fasteners needed for installation; the hitch uses existing weldnuts on the vehicle frame.
Yes. You must remove the exhaust bezels and lower the exhaust muffler to access the frame rails and weldnuts. The exhaust is supported and lowered by removing rubber hangers at two locations, then gently pulling the bumper fascia rearward.
You must remove: (2) exhaust bezels (held by 10mm flange nuts), lower the exhaust muffler by removing rubber hangers at 2 locations, and remove (2) foam pads from the side frame rails (one per side). All removed components must be reinstalled after hitch installation.
After removing the foam pads, use a wire brush to clean the weldnuts behind where the pads were removed. Raise the hitch into position and align it with the weldnut locations. Then loosely install the M12 bolts and 1/2-inch conical washers before final torquing.
Using channellock pliers, you must slightly bend the end of the rod located behind the end panel outward on both sides. This is done before raising the hitch into position. The purpose is to allow the hitch to fit properly against the frame.
All M12 fasteners must be tightened to 76 Ft.-Lb. (103 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch securely mounted to the vehicle during towing.
The M12 bolts and conical washers must be loosely installed first to allow proper alignment of the hitch with the weldnut locations. Only after all bolts are loosely installed should you tighten all M12 fasteners to 76 Ft.-Lb. (103 N·M) using a torque wrench.
The conical washers are 1/2 inch in size. There are (8) washers included in fastener kit 76513F. The teeth side of the conical washer must be oriented against the hitch.
The teeth side of the 1/2-inch conical washer must be oriented against the hitch. This orientation is shown in Figure 2 of the installation instructions.
The installation uses (8) M12×1.25×40 CL10.9 bolts and (8) 1/2-inch conical washers, installed in pairs on both sides of the vehicle (4 bolts and 4 washers per side).
1. Remove exhaust bezels using 10mm socket. 2. Lower exhaust muffler by removing rubber hangers and pulling bumper fascia rearward. 3. Remove foam pads from side frame rails using flat head screwdriver. 4. Bend rod ends outward using channellock pliers, clean weldnuts with wire brush, raise hitch into position, and loosely install M12 bolts and conical washers. 5. Tighten all M12 fasteners to 76 Ft.-Lb. (103 N·M) with torque wrench. 6. Reinstall exhaust muffler and bezels.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not attempt to repair or continue using a damaged hitch.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual emphasizes that proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.

Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit. Always wear your seatbelt.
No. Do not cut, weld, or modify this receiver. Doing so may compromise the structural integrity and safety of the hitch.
Loose fasteners indicate the hitch is not securely mounted and may fail during towing. Check that all M12 fasteners are tightened to 76 Ft.-Lb. (103 N·M) using a torque wrench. Retighten any loose fasteners immediately. The manual emphasizes checking the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners remain tight.
