Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

Required tools include: ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, 10 mm socket, 14 mm socket, 18 mm socket, 6-inch socket extension, utility knife, tape measure, marker, Phillips head screwdriver, and flat head screwdriver.
Yes, a torque wrench is required. The housing fasteners must be tightened to 92 Lb-Ft (125 N·M) and the flange nuts to 42 Lb-Ft (57 N·M).
Kit 76907F includes: (2) M12-1.75 × 100 mm Class 10.9 hex bolts, (2) 7/16-inch flat washers, and (2) M12-1.75 Class 10 flange locknuts. Kit 76907F2 includes (1) warning card and (2) warning labels. The hitch also reuses (8) existing 10 mm × 1.25 flange nuts from the vehicle's bumper beam.
The average installation time for professional installers is 45 minutes. If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or need assistance, contact a professional installer.
Yes. Step 5 requires removing the foam fascia support from the bumper to expose access holes, and step 6 requires raising the hitch and bumper beam together into position onto the studs in the end panel. The bumper beam must be repositioned as part of the installation.
Yes. Step 3 requires removing both tail light assemblies. Use a flat head and Phillips head screwdriver to remove 2 screw-type push pins on each side, then use a 10 mm socket to remove 2 screws from each tail light. Pull the tail light rearward and remove 2 bulbs and 1 electrical connector from each side.
Yes. Step 4 requires removing the fascia to access the bumper beam mounting studs. Save all fasteners for reinstallation. The fascia is then trimmed in step 9 and reinstalled in step 10.
No drilling is required. The hitch mounts to existing 10 mm × 1.25 flange nuts on the vehicle's bumper beam mounting studs. However, the fascia must be trimmed (not drilled) to create clearance for the hitch.
Yes. Step 9 requires trimming a 4½ × 8 × 4 inch box from the bottom center of the fascia. Use a marker and tape measure to mark the cut, then trim with a utility knife. Do not use a torch to cut the fascia.
Using a marker and tape measure, mark a 4½ × 8 × 4 inch box on the bottom center of the fascia. To find the center, measure 2 inches toward the driver side from the middle hole on the fascia and mark the centerline. Mark 4 inches on each side of the centerline on the forward edge of the fascia. Measure 4½ inches from the forward edge and mark 2 inches on each side of the centerline. See Figure 2 in the manual.
No. The manual explicitly states: 'Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.' Use a utility knife to trim the fascia.
The M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut that attach the housing to the hitch must be tightened to 92 Lb-Ft (125 N·M).
All 10 mm × 1.25 flange nuts must be tightened to 42 Lb-Ft (57 N·M) using a torque wrench.
Eight fasteners attach the hitch to the vehicle: (8) existing 10 mm × 1.25 flange nuts on the bumper beam mounting studs, with 4 on each side. These are reinstalled loosely in step 6 and then tightened to 42 Lb-Ft (57 N·M) in step 7.
The fascia trim area is a 4½ × 8 × 4 inch box cut from the bottom center of the fascia. The box is centered 2 inches toward the driver side from the middle hole on the fascia, extends 4 inches on each side of the centerline on the forward edge, and extends 4½ inches back from the forward edge.
The manual does not describe any electrical connections for the hitch itself. However, step 3 requires disconnecting the tail light electrical connectors during removal and reconnecting them during reinstallation in step 10.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access holes with a torch. The manual also recommends consulting a professional installer if you do not feel comfortable performing the installation yourself.
The maximum tongue weight is 350 lb (159 kg). Do not exceed this limit or the vehicle manufacturer's towing rating, whichever is lower.
If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up.
Load the trailer heavier in front. This helps maintain proper weight distribution and stability while towing.
Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit. The manual does not specify a maximum towing speed beyond this general guidance.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing. The manual recommends periodic checks of all fasteners to ensure the hitch remains securely mounted.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but recommends periodic checks to ensure the hitch remains securely mounted to the vehicle.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not continue using a damaged hitch.
The manual lists two quick-link options sold separately: #49131 (5/16 inch) with maximum GTW 3,500 lb, and #44133 (3/8 inch) with maximum GTW 3,500 lb. These are the recommended safety chain attachments for the hitch.
The ball mount must have a maximum length of 10.5 inches (distance from center of ball hole to center of pin hole) and a minimum rise of 0.75 inches (distance from top of shank to top of ball platform). The manual does not specify whether a ball mount is included or sold separately.
The installation sequence is: (1) Install receiver housing to hitch, (2) Keep warning card and apply labels, (3) Remove tail lights, (4) Remove fascia, (5) Remove bumper beam foam support, (6) Install hitch onto studs, (7) Tighten fasteners to 42 Lb-Ft, (8) Install foam support, (9) Trim fascia, (10) Reinstall tail lights, fascia, and mud flaps. Follow this order to ensure proper installation.
Remove the receiver and weather covers from the case. Unlock the blue handle using the attached key and remove the housing by pressing the blue handle and rotating clockwise until you hear a click. Install the top/bottom weather cover to the housing. Attach the housing to the hitch using an M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut. Tighten to 92 Lb-Ft (125 N·M).
In step 6, reinstall the 8 flange nuts loosely. Then in step 7, tighten all 10 mm × 1.25 flange nuts to 42 Lb-Ft (57 N·M) using a torque wrench. Do not fully tighten until step 7.
Keep the warning card in the glove compartment. Peel off the warning labels and apply them on the top of the receiver and door jamb respectively.
Open the lift gate. Use a flat head and Phillips head screwdriver to remove 2 screw-type push pins on each side of the tail light cover. Then use a 10 mm socket to remove 2 screws from the tail light on each side. Pull the tail light rearward and remove 2 bulbs and 1 electrical connector from each side.
Remove 1 push pin from the wheel well on each side using a Phillips head screwdriver. If mud flaps are installed, remove 3 screws and 2 push pins on each side. Remove 7 push pins along the bottom edge of the fascia using a flat head screwdriver. Open the tab on the fascia under the tail light and remove 1 screw on each side using a 10 mm socket. Starting at the wheel well, gently pull the fascia rearward and set aside. Save all fasteners for reinstallation.
Remove the foam fascia support from the bumper to expose access holes. Using a 14 mm socket, remove 4 nuts on each side (8 total) and save them for hitch installation.
Bend the center fascia tab flat against the end panel. Raise the hitch and bumper beam into position onto the studs in the end panel. Loosely reinstall the 8 flange nuts removed in step 5 (4 on each side). Do not fully tighten until step 7.
After tightening the hitch fasteners and installing the foam support, trim the fascia, then reinstall the tail lights, fascia, and mud flaps (if equipped) in the reverse order of removal.
Ensure all fasteners are tightened to the correct torque specification using a torque wrench. The 10 mm × 1.25 flange nuts must be tightened to 42 Lb-Ft (57 N·M). Check the hitch frequently and retighten fasteners as needed. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. If the hitch is removed, these holes must be sealed to protect the vehicle.
Yes, a compatible bike rack, cargo carrier or other accessory with a 2" x 2" shank can generally be used. Make sure the accessory does not exceed the hitch’s tongue weight rating, the vehicle’s limits or the accessory manufacturer’s capacity. Account for the combined weight of the carrier and everything loaded onto it.
