Yes. The rear fascia must be removed to access the bumper beam and hitch mounting points. You will remove plastic push-pin rivets from the bottom center edge, outer bottom edge, and top of the wheel well area, then carefully pull the fascia rearward while releasing the clips. The factory rivets cannot be reused; four replacement rivets are supplied (two required, two spare).
No drilling is required. The hitch uses existing frame rail holes and factory studs on the bumper beam. However, you must trim the fascia by cutting a notch approximately 8" wide by 6" tall in the bottom center using a utility knife. Ensure the area is clear of all electrical wiring before trimming.
The fascia must be permanently trimmed with a notch approximately 8" wide by 6" tall in the bottom center. A metal tab on the end panel near the right-hand side chain bracket must be slightly bent up, and the push-pin rivet will not be reinstalled to this tab.
