Fulton has produced marine and utility trailer hardware for more than a century, and its jacks, winches and couplers are a standard for light and medium-duty trailering. The XLT and F2 series cover swivel and fixed jacks, hand and powered winches from 1,500 to 3,200 pounds, and couplers built to keep working in wet, salty conditions.
With more than a hundred years of production behind it, Fulton has become the reference point for light and medium-duty trailer hardware, particularly on the marine side. That environment is the toughest test a trailer component faces. A boat trailer is reversed into fresh or salt water on every launch and left to sit wet, which finds every weakness in plating, sealing and material choice. Fulton's stated position is that the brand performs best when the weather is at its worst, and its product engineering reflects that. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Draw-Tite, Bulldog, Tekonsha and Wesbar.
Marine and utility jacks anchor the line. The XLT Series marine jack uses a bolt-through swivel mount built from three-dimensionally formed heavy-gauge steel stampings with a proprietary bushing material, a combination chosen to minimise deflection under tongue load while keeping the swivel action working after years of exposure. The F2 Series takes corrosion resistance further as the industry's only extruded aluminium marine jack with an anodised finish, which removes the rust problem at its source rather than coating over it. The wider trailer jack range covers topwind, sidewind and drop-leg configurations.
Trailer winches pull boats onto bunks and rollers. XLT Series winches use efficient gear ratios, full-length drum bearings, oil-impregnated shaft bushings and a Comfort Grip handle that makes the last few turns under load bearable, in 1,500 and 1,800 pound capacities. F2 Series winches use an enclosed frame for a cleaner look and added protection, in 1,600, 2,000 and 3,200 pound models, including two-speed options that trade line speed for cranking effort.
Couplers complete the range, including A-frame couplers matched to common tongue sizes and load ratings, serving boat owners, utility trailer users and trailer manufacturers.

Before mounting, confirm there will be no interference from the tow vehicle, tongue, ground, or any other mounted accessories while stationary or in motion. Check for interference in all positions, including handle swing and swivel positions. Repeat the interference check after installation is complete. The swivel mount height is pre-set by the factory for most applications but can be adjusted if needed.
1. Remove the jack from the trailer. 2. Loosen the two swivel fasteners until the slide block moves freely along the outer tube. 3. To access the upper bolt, rotate the swivel bracket to the horizontal (3-inch mounting) position as shown in the diagram. 4. Adjust the swivel mount to the desired location. 5. Re-torque both fasteners to 60–70 ft-lbs. 6. After adjustment, check for proper swivel and pin engagement.

Align the top of the mounting plate flush with the top of the trailer tube. 4. Weld completely around using a 3/16-inch fillet weld. All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder. 5. The threaded holes in the mounting plate may need to be masked for painting or re-tapped, depending on trailer finish requirements. 6. Recheck the position of the mounting plate according to the precautions listed in the manual. 7. Check for interference again after installation is complete.

Thread the footplate into the bottom of the jack tube and torque to 60–70 ft-lbs.
Assemble the handle assembly as shown in the diagram and torque the locknut to 20–25 in-lbs.
1. Assemble the optional wheel wedge as shown in the diagram. 2. Torque to 6–9 in-lbs. 3. To activate, press downward until the wedge locks into place. 4. To release, lift up until pressure is released from the wheels. Note: The wheel wedge is not intended to be a wheel brake or stop.
1. Place the handle hold-up with its stop block pointing toward the top of the jack. 2. Center the hold-up on the handle. 3. Drive the pin flush through the hold-up and both tabs. Proper assembly allows the handle hold-up to rotate down in the event of crank handle bypass.
Never allow any part of the body under or in the path of any portion of the jack or the load being supported or moved. Do not allow children to play on or around the jack or the load. Secure the load, vehicle, and trailer from rolling by blocking wheels when operating the jack or coupling the trailer. Never exceed the maximum rated capacity. These jacks are designed for vertical loading only; excessive side forces may cause jack failure and must be avoided. Before manually moving the trailer, crank the jack to the lowest position. Do not use the jack as a transport device for the implement it is attached to; minimize movement of the implement while the jack is under load.
Do not cut, drill, weld, or modify the jack in any manner not described in the instructions. All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder. Always replace bent, broken, or worn parts before using the product. The purchaser/owner must not alter or modify the product except as specified in the instructions.
The F2 jack is designed with precision fit components and corrosion-resistant materials to minimize the frequency of maintenance. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water, along with light oil lubrication of pivot points, will prolong peak performance and appearance.
The weld-on model includes a mounting plate. The mounting plate must be welded to the trailer tube by an AWS-certified welder. The threaded holes in the mounting plate may need to be masked for painting or re-tapped, depending on trailer finish requirements.
The bolt-on model includes U-bolts, nuts, and lock washers for mounting to the trailer tube. The swivel bracket is positioned and secured using these U-bolts, which must be torqued to 20–25 ft-lbs.

For weld-on models, an AWS-certified welder and welding equipment are required.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, accidents, misapplication, overloading, improper installation, improper maintenance and repair, or product alteration by anyone other than the manufacturer except as specified in the instructions.
