Fulton has produced marine and utility trailer hardware for more than a century, and its jacks, winches and couplers are a standard for light and medium-duty trailering. The XLT and F2 series cover swivel and fixed jacks, hand and powered winches from 1,500 to 3,200 pounds, and couplers built to keep working in wet, salty conditions.
With more than a hundred years of production behind it, Fulton has become the reference point for light and medium-duty trailer hardware, particularly on the marine side. That environment is the toughest test a trailer component faces. A boat trailer is reversed into fresh or salt water on every launch and left to sit wet, which finds every weakness in plating, sealing and material choice. Fulton's stated position is that the brand performs best when the weather is at its worst, and its product engineering reflects that. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Draw-Tite, Bulldog, Tekonsha and Wesbar.
Marine and utility jacks anchor the line. The XLT Series marine jack uses a bolt-through swivel mount built from three-dimensionally formed heavy-gauge steel stampings with a proprietary bushing material, a combination chosen to minimise deflection under tongue load while keeping the swivel action working after years of exposure. The F2 Series takes corrosion resistance further as the industry's only extruded aluminium marine jack with an anodised finish, which removes the rust problem at its source rather than coating over it. The wider trailer jack range covers topwind, sidewind and drop-leg configurations.
Trailer winches pull boats onto bunks and rollers. XLT Series winches use efficient gear ratios, full-length drum bearings, oil-impregnated shaft bushings and a Comfort Grip handle that makes the last few turns under load bearable, in 1,500 and 1,800 pound capacities. F2 Series winches use an enclosed frame for a cleaner look and added protection, in 1,600, 2,000 and 3,200 pound models, including two-speed options that trade line speed for cranking effort.
Couplers complete the range, including A-frame couplers matched to common tongue sizes and load ratings, serving boat owners, utility trailer users and trailer manufacturers.

Fulton® F2® Marine and Recreational Jacks
The F3576 is a manual crank trailer jack manufactured by Cequent Trailer Products. It is designed to raise and lower the tongue of a trailer for coupling and uncoupling. The jack features a swivel mount that allows the handle to rotate and swing into a stowed position when not in use. It is available in both bolt-on and weld-on mounting configurations.
The F3576 bolt-on model is available for 3×3 inch, 3×4 inch, or 3×5 inch trailer tubes only. The swivel bracket and U-bolts must be positioned to allow proper mounting to the trailer. The jack is not designed for round tongues.

Before mounting, confirm there will be no interference from the tow vehicle, tongue, ground, and any other mounted accessories while stationary or in motion. Check for interference in all positions including handle swing and swivel positions. Repeat the interference check after installation is complete. The swivel mount height is pre-set by the factory at a common height for most applications, but you should verify clearance in your specific application.
Bolt-on models use U-bolts to attach to 3×3, 3×4, or 3×5 inch trailer tubes. Weld-on models include a mounting plate that must be welded to the trailer tongue using a 3/16 inch fillet weld completely around the plate. The flat surface of the mounting plate must face the trailer, and the top of the plate must be flush with the top of the trailer tube. All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder.
The manual does not describe drilling as part of the bolt-on installation process. The bolt-on model uses U-bolts that clamp around the trailer tube without requiring holes to be drilled in the tube itself. However, the manual does not explicitly state whether the mounting bracket has pre-drilled holes or whether drilling is needed for the U-bolt attachment points.
Yes, welding is required for weld-on models. All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder. A 3/16 inch fillet weld must be applied completely around the mounting plate where it attaches to the trailer tube. The threaded holes in the mounting plate may need to be masked for painting or re-tapped after welding, depending on trailer finish requirements.
The U-bolt nuts must be torqued to 20–25 ft-lbs.
The two swivel fasteners must be torqued to 60–70 ft-lbs. This applies whether you are initially setting the height or adjusting it after installation.
The footplate must be threaded into the bottom of the jack tube and torqued to 60–70 ft-lbs.
The handle assembly locknut must be torqued to 20–25 in-lbs (inch-pounds, not foot-pounds).
The optional wheel wedge must be assembled and torqued to 6–9 in-lbs (inch-pounds).
1. Remove the jack from the trailer. 2. Loosen the two swivel fasteners until the slide block moves freely along the outer tube. 3. To access the upper bolt, rotate the swivel bracket to the horizontal (3 inch mounting) position as shown in the diagram. 4. Adjust the swivel mount to your desired location. 5. Re-torque both fasteners to 60–70 ft-lbs. 6. After adjustment, check for proper swivel and pin engagement. The height is pre-set at the factory for most applications, so adjustment is only necessary if your specific installation requires a different height.
1. Place the handle hold-up with its stop block pointing toward the top of the jack. 2. Center the hold-up on the handle. 3. Drive the pin flush through the hold-up and both tabs. Proper assembly allows the handle hold-up to rotate down in the event of crank handle bypass, providing a safety feature if the handle is forced beyond its normal range.
Assemble the handle assembly as shown in the diagram with the roller, spacer, washer, and bolt. Torque the locknut to 20–25 in-lbs. The handle is designed to rotate and swing into a stowed position when not in use.

The F3576 is designed for vertical loading only. Excessive side forces may cause jack failure and must be avoided. Do not use the jack as a transport device for the implement it is attached to. Minimize movement of the implement while the jack is under load.
Fully retract and rotate the jack into its stowed position before towing. The handle must be cranked to the lowest position before manually moving the trailer. The plunger pin must be locked into a hole in the mounting bracket before raising or lowering the tongue.
Never position any part of your body under or in the path of any portion of the jack or the load being supported or moved. Do not allow children to play on or around the jack or the load. Secure the load, vehicle, and trailer from rolling by blocking the wheels when operating the jack or coupling the trailer. Never exceed the maximum rated capacity. Always replace bent, broken, or worn parts before using the product.
The F2 jack is designed with precision fit components and corrosion-resistant materials to minimize the frequency of maintenance. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water, along with light oil lubrication of pivot points, will prolong peak performance and appearance. No specific maintenance interval is stated in the manual.
After installation is complete, check for interference again in all positions including handle swing and swivel positions. After adjusting the swivel mount height, check for proper swivel and pin engagement. Verify that the jack operates smoothly and that all fasteners are properly torqued.
