Fulton has produced marine and utility trailer hardware for more than a century, and its jacks, winches and couplers are a standard for light and medium-duty trailering. The XLT and F2 series cover swivel and fixed jacks, hand and powered winches from 1,500 to 3,200 pounds, and couplers built to keep working in wet, salty conditions.
With more than a hundred years of production behind it, Fulton has become the reference point for light and medium-duty trailer hardware, particularly on the marine side. That environment is the toughest test a trailer component faces. A boat trailer is reversed into fresh or salt water on every launch and left to sit wet, which finds every weakness in plating, sealing and material choice. Fulton's stated position is that the brand performs best when the weather is at its worst, and its product engineering reflects that. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Draw-Tite, Bulldog, Tekonsha and Wesbar.
Marine and utility jacks anchor the line. The XLT Series marine jack uses a bolt-through swivel mount built from three-dimensionally formed heavy-gauge steel stampings with a proprietary bushing material, a combination chosen to minimise deflection under tongue load while keeping the swivel action working after years of exposure. The F2 Series takes corrosion resistance further as the industry's only extruded aluminium marine jack with an anodised finish, which removes the rust problem at its source rather than coating over it. The wider trailer jack range covers topwind, sidewind and drop-leg configurations.
Trailer winches pull boats onto bunks and rollers. XLT Series winches use efficient gear ratios, full-length drum bearings, oil-impregnated shaft bushings and a Comfort Grip handle that makes the last few turns under load bearable, in 1,500 and 1,800 pound capacities. F2 Series winches use an enclosed frame for a cleaner look and added protection, in 1,600, 2,000 and 3,200 pound models, including two-speed options that trade line speed for cranking effort.
Couplers complete the range, including A-frame couplers matched to common tongue sizes and load ratings, serving boat owners, utility trailer users and trailer manufacturers.

Fulton® F2® Marine and Recreational Jacks
The F3576 is a trailer tongue jack designed to support and raise trailer tongues. It features a swivel mount that allows the handle to rotate and swing into a stowed position when not in use. The jack is designed for vertical loading only and must be fully retracted and rotated into its stowed position before towing.
Yes, the F3576 is available in 3×3, 3×4, and 3×5 inch trailer tube sizes for bolt-on models. Confirm your trailer tube dimensions before ordering. The jack is not designed for round tongues.
No. The F3576 is not designed for mounting to round tongues. It is designed only for square tube tongues in 3×3, 3×4, or 3×5 inch sizes (bolt-on models).
Before mounting the jack, confirm there will be no interference from the tow vehicle, tongue, ground, or any other mounted accessories while stationary or in motion. Check for interference in all positions including handle swing and swivel positions. Repeat the interference check after installation is complete. The swivel mount height is pre-set by the factory for most applications, but you must verify clearance in your specific setup.
The manual does not specify whether drilling is required for bolt-on installation. It states that U-bolts are used to attach the swivel bracket to the trailer tube, but does not detail whether the trailer tube requires pre-drilled holes or whether holes must be drilled during installation. Contact Cequent Trailer Products at 800-604-9466 or www.cequentgroup.com for clarification on your specific trailer.
Welding is required only for weld-on models. The F3576 is available in both bolt-on and weld-on versions. Bolt-on models use U-bolts and do not require welding. If you have a weld-on model, all welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder. The mounting plate must be positioned with its flat surface toward the trailer, aligned flush with the top of the trailer tube, and welded completely around using a 3/16 inch fillet weld.
The bolt-on model includes U-bolts, nuts, lock washers, and a swivel bracket for mounting to the trailer tube. The manual shows a 4-inch U-bolt configuration as an example. The exact hardware configuration depends on your trailer tube size (3×3, 3×4, or 3×5 inch). Additional components such as the footplate, handle assembly, and optional wheel wedge and handle hold-up are also included or available.
The manual does not specify which tools are required for installation. For bolt-on models, you will need tools to tighten U-bolts and other fasteners to the specified torque values (20–25 ft-lbs for U-bolts, 60–70 ft-lbs for swivel fasteners and footplate). For weld-on models, an AWS-certified welder is required. Contact Cequent Trailer Products at 800-604-9466 for a complete tool list.
Tighten the U-bolt nuts to 20–25 ft-lbs for bolt-on models.
Torque the swivel fasteners to 60–70 ft-lbs. This applies both to the initial factory setting and when adjusting the swivel mount height.
Thread the footplate into the bottom of the jack tube and torque to 60–70 ft-lbs.
Assemble the handle assembly and torque the locknut to 20–25 in-lbs (inch-pounds, not foot-pounds).
Assemble the optional wheel wedge and torque to 6–9 in-lbs (inch-pounds).
Yes, the swivel mount height can be adjusted if necessary. With the jack removed from the trailer, loosen the two swivel fasteners until the slide block moves freely along the outer tube. To access the upper bolt, rotate the swivel bracket to the horizontal (3-inch mounting) position. Adjust the swivel mount to the desired location and re-torque to 60–70 ft-lbs. After adjustment, check for proper swivel and pin engagement.
Position the mounting plate with the flat surface toward the trailer. Align the top of the mounting plate flush with the top of the trailer tube. Weld completely around using a 3/16 inch fillet weld. The threaded holes in the mounting plate may need to be masked for painting or re-tapped after welding, depending on trailer finish requirements.
The maximum rated capacity is stamped or marked on the product itself. If you cannot locate the capacity marking or are uncertain, contact Cequent Trailer Products at 800-604-9466 or www.cequentgroup.com. Never exceed the maximum rated capacity.
Yes. Lock the plunger pin into a hole in the mounting bracket before raising or lowering the tongue. This is a required safety procedure.
Fully retract and rotate the jack into its stowed position before towing. The manual shows the jack and handle in the stowed position in the installation diagrams.
Before manually moving the trailer, crank the jack to its lowest position.
No. The F3576 is not intended to be used as a transport device for the implement it is attached to. Minimize movement of the implement while the jack is under load.
The F3576 is designed for vertical loading only. Excessive side forces may cause jack failure and must be avoided.
The F3576 is designed with precision-fit components and corrosion-resistant materials to minimize maintenance. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water, along with light oil lubrication of pivot points, will prolong peak performance and appearance.
The F3576 comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty covering material and workmanship defects, excluding normal wear and tear, provided installation and use comply with the product instructions. The warranty does not cover damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, accidents, misapplication, overloading, improper installation, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications. The warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser. For warranty claims, contact Cequent Trailer Products at 1050 Indianhead Drive, Mosinee, WI 54455, or 1-800-604-9466.
The F3576 is available for 3×3, 3×4, and 3×5 inch square trailer tubes (bolt-on models). It is not designed for round tongues. Confirm your trailer tube size and shape before purchasing.
U-bolts, nuts, and lock washers are used. Tighten U-bolt nuts to 20–25 ft-lbs. Swivel fasteners must be torqued to 60–70 ft-lbs.

Fully retract and rotate the jack into its stowed position. Lock the plunger pin into a hole in the mounting bracket. Crank the jack to its lowest position before manually moving the trailer.
