Fulton has produced marine and utility trailer hardware for more than a century, and its jacks, winches and couplers are a standard for light and medium-duty trailering. The XLT and F2 series cover swivel and fixed jacks, hand and powered winches from 1,500 to 3,200 pounds, and couplers built to keep working in wet, salty conditions.
With more than a hundred years of production behind it, Fulton has become the reference point for light and medium-duty trailer hardware, particularly on the marine side. That environment is the toughest test a trailer component faces. A boat trailer is reversed into fresh or salt water on every launch and left to sit wet, which finds every weakness in plating, sealing and material choice. Fulton's stated position is that the brand performs best when the weather is at its worst, and its product engineering reflects that. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Draw-Tite, Bulldog, Tekonsha and Wesbar.
Marine and utility jacks anchor the line. The XLT Series marine jack uses a bolt-through swivel mount built from three-dimensionally formed heavy-gauge steel stampings with a proprietary bushing material, a combination chosen to minimise deflection under tongue load while keeping the swivel action working after years of exposure. The F2 Series takes corrosion resistance further as the industry's only extruded aluminium marine jack with an anodised finish, which removes the rust problem at its source rather than coating over it. The wider trailer jack range covers topwind, sidewind and drop-leg configurations.
Trailer winches pull boats onto bunks and rollers. XLT Series winches use efficient gear ratios, full-length drum bearings, oil-impregnated shaft bushings and a Comfort Grip handle that makes the last few turns under load bearable, in 1,500 and 1,800 pound capacities. F2 Series winches use an enclosed frame for a cleaner look and added protection, in 1,600, 2,000 and 3,200 pound models, including two-speed options that trade line speed for cranking effort.
Couplers complete the range, including A-frame couplers matched to common tongue sizes and load ratings, serving boat owners, utility trailer users and trailer manufacturers.

Fulton® F2® Marine and Recreational Jacks
The F3576 is a trailer tongue jack designed to support and raise trailer tongues. It is designed for vertical loading only and must be fully retracted and rotated into its stowed position before towing. The jack is not intended to be used as a transport device for the implement it is attached to.
The F3576 bolt-on model is available for 3x3 inch, 3x4 inch, or 3x5 inch trailer tubes only. The swivel bracket and U-bolts must be positioned to allow proper mounting to the trailer tube.
No. The F3576 is not designed for mounting to round tongues. It is designed for square trailer tubes only.
Before mounting the jack, confirm there will be no interference from the tow vehicle, tongue, ground, and any other mounted accessories while stationary or in motion. Check for interference in all positions including handle swing and swivel positions. Repeat the interference check after installation is complete. The swivel mount height is pre-set by the factory at a common height for most applications, but may need adjustment for your specific setup.
Tighten the U-bolt nuts to 20-25 ft-lbs. Position the swivel bracket and U-bolts to allow proper mounting to the trailer tube before tightening.
No drilling is required for the bolt-on model. The F3576 bolt-on uses U-bolts to clamp to the trailer tube. However, the weld-on model requires welding by an AWS-certified welder and does not require drilling.
Welding is required only for weld-on models. The mounting plate is included on weld-on models only. All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder. The weld-on model requires a 3/16 inch fillet weld completely around the mounting plate. The bolt-on model does not require welding.
The swivel mount fasteners should be torqued to 60-70 ft-lbs. This applies when adjusting the swivel mount height. The height is pre-set by the factory, but if adjustment is necessary, loosen the two swivel fasteners until the slide block moves freely along the outer tube, adjust to the desired location, and re-torque to 60-70 ft-lbs.
With the jack removed from the trailer, loosen the two swivel fasteners until the slide block moves freely along the outer tube. To access the upper bolt, rotate the swivel bracket to the horizontal (3 inch mounting) position as shown in the diagram. Adjust the swivel mount to the desired location and re-torque to 60-70 ft-lbs. After adjustment, check for proper swivel and pin engagement.
Thread the footplate into the bottom of the jack tube and torque to 60-70 ft-lbs.
Assemble the handle assembly as shown in the diagram and torque the locknut to 20-25 in-lbs.
Assemble the optional wheel wedge as shown in the diagram and torque to 6-9 in-lbs. To activate, press downward until the wedge locks into place. To release, lift up until pressure is released from the wheels. The wheel wedge is not intended to be a wheel brake or stop.
Place the handle hold-up with its stop block pointing toward the top of the jack. Center the hold-up on the handle and drive the pin flush through the hold-up and both tabs. Proper assembly allows the handle hold-up to rotate down in the event of crank handle bypass.
Never exceed the maximum rated capacity. Refer to the stamped markings or decals on the product to obtain the rated capacity. If uncertain, contact Cequent Trailer Products at 800-604-9466 or www.cequentgroup.com.
The F3576 is designed for vertical loading only. Excessive side forces may cause jack failure and must be avoided.
Before manually moving the trailer, crank the jack to the lowest position.
Lock the plunger pin into a hole in the mounting bracket before raising or lowering the tongue.
Fully retract and rotate the jack into its stowed position before towing.
Secure the load, vehicle, and trailer from rolling by blocking the wheels when operating the jack or coupling the trailer.
No. The F3576 is not intended to be used as a transport device for the implement it is attached to. Minimize movement of the implement while the jack is under load.
The F3576 is designed with precision fit components and corrosion-resistant materials to minimize the frequency of maintenance. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water along with light oil lubrication of pivot points will prolong peak performance and appearance.
No. The purchaser/owner must not alter or modify the product. Do not cut, drill, weld, or modify the jack in any manner not described in the instructions. Any modifications must be performed in strict accordance with the installation instructions.
Always replace bent, broken, or worn parts before using the product.
The F3576 bolt-on model fits 3x3, 3x4, and 3x5 inch square trailer tubes only. It is not designed for round tongues. Check your trailer tube size and shape before purchasing.
U-bolt nuts: 20-25 ft-lbs. Swivel mount fasteners: 60-70 ft-lbs. Footplate: 60-70 ft-lbs. Handle assembly locknut: 20-25 in-lbs. Optional wheel wedge: 6-9 in-lbs.
Fully retract and rotate the jack into its stowed position before towing. Before manually moving the trailer, crank the jack to the lowest position.
Occasionally clean with mild soap and water and apply light oil lubrication to pivot points to prolong peak performance and appearance.
