Whether you're on the job or off-roading through the wilderness, it doesn't take long for rocks and other debris to wreak havoc on the body of your truck. LUVERNE Textured Rubber Mud Guards are the perfect solution for maintaining that pristine, professional look. For the front or rear of the truck, these custom mud flaps add style and body protection. They are constructed from heavy-duty black rubber that stands up to road debris and sheds water with ease. They feature 18-gauge stainless steel plates to help protect the bottom edge and extend the life of the mud flaps. With their 3/8" thick, recycled rubber construction, Textured Rubber Mud Guards easily deflect everything from mud to gravel, protecting the body of your truck from scratches, chips and scuffs. They are also made to add a stylish accent to your truck, featuring stainless steel plates along the bottom edge of each flap. The plates are made from 18-gauge stainless steel to provide a heavy-duty, rust-resistant shield, and they feature a bright, high-polish finish for a long-lasting shine. The textured finish of the rubber mud flaps is also designed to easily hide minor scuffs and scratches and maintain a clean appearance. For an easy installation and a custom fit, these truck mud flaps are made vehicle-specific. This particular set fits specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). They install with corrosion-resistant fasteners and high-strength steel mounting brackets with a galvanized finish for long-lasting durability. Universal mud flaps are also available.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes. Model 251720 (12" X 20") and model 251723 (12" X 23") mudguards are designed for 2017 and newer Ford Super Duty Series trucks. Both models can be mounted on the front or rear of the vehicle. The 251720 is the smaller option at 12" X 20", while the 251723 is larger at 12" X 23".
Yes. Both model 251720 and 251723 mudguards can be mounted on either the front or rear of the vehicle. The installation procedure differs between front and rear mounting, with different fastening points and hardware configurations for each location.
Yes. If your vehicle has factory fender flares, you must use different fasteners for the fender attachment. Instead of M4.2 X 30MM SEMS screws, use two 8-15 X 1.75 pan head screws (item #8), two SST flat washers (item #9), and two black fender washers (item #6). You will also need to drill a 9/32" hole at each rock guard fastener location where the factory flare covers the original fasteners.
A 9/32" drill bit is required for all mounting locations. The manual does not specify other tools needed, such as drill type, wrench sizes, or socket sizes for tightening fasteners.
Yes. The kit includes all fasteners required for installation. For front mounting on vehicles without factory fender flares, you receive M4.2 X 30MM SEMS screws, aluminum hex head screws, aluminum lock nuts, aluminum flat washers, and black fender washers. For rear mounting, the kit includes aluminum hex head screws, aluminum lock nuts, aluminum flat washers, black fender washers, nylon washers, and a support brace. If your vehicle has factory fender flares, the kit includes alternative pan head screws and SST flat washers for front mounting.
Yes. The manual explicitly states to read the instructions completely and check that all required parts are on hand before starting installation. This ensures you have all necessary components and understand the full procedure before beginning work.
Front mounting requires six steps: (1) Remove the two factory rock guard fasteners—these will not be reused. If you have factory fender flares, drill a 9/32" hole at each fastener location. (2) Attach the mudguard to the fender using two M4.2 X 30MM SEMS screws, two black fender washers, leaving fasteners loose. For factory fender flares, use two 8-15 X 1.75 pan head screws, two SST flat washers, and two black fender washers instead. (3) Attach a Z-clip to the inboard corner using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, 1/4" aluminum flat washer, black fender washer, and 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut, leaving loose. (4) Position the mudguard in final position and drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. (5) Attach the mudguard to the fender at the top using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, 1/4" aluminum flat washer, black fender washer, and 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut. (6) Attach the Z-clip to the wheel well liner by drilling a 9/32" hole and using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, 1/4" aluminum flat washer, black fender washer, and 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut. (7) Adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners, starting with the top fastener. Repeat for the left side.
Rear mounting requires eight steps: (1) Remove the two plastic factory rock guard fasteners—these will not be reused. If factory fender flares cover these fasteners, drill a 9/32" hole at each location. (2) Remove the factory splash guard bolt and install a .360" X 1.5" nylon washer and the support brace in its place. (3) Attach the mudguard to the fender using two 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screws, two 1/4" X 1" black fender washers, two 1/4" aluminum washers, and two 1/4-20 aluminum lock nuts. (4) Attach the mudguard to the support brace using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, a 1/4" X 1" black fender washer, two 1/4" aluminum washers, and a 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut. (5) Position the mudguard in final position and drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. (6) Position the 5.5" foam rubber bulb seal against the vehicle body with the bulb facing outward, placing it against the top of the factory rock guard and adjusting it to follow the fender contour. (7) Use a sharp object to punch through the bulb seal at the top mounting location. (8) Attach the mudguard to the fender at the top using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, 1/4" aluminum washer, 1/4" X 1" black fender washer, and 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut. (9) Adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners. Repeat for the left side.
Fasteners must be left loose during initial assembly so you can position the mudguard in its final location and make adjustments. Once the mudguard is positioned level and upright, all fasteners are tightened. This allows for proper alignment before final tightening.
Yes. Drilling is required for all installations. You must drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location for both front and rear installations. For front installations, you must also drill a 9/32" hole through the wheel well liner for the Z-clip attachment. If your vehicle has factory fender flares, you must drill a 9/32" hole at each rock guard fastener location where the flare covers the original fasteners.
A 9/32" drill bit is required for all drilling operations during installation. This size is used for drilling holes through the fender lip, wheel well liner (front only), and at rock guard fastener locations on vehicles with factory fender flares.
The manual does not provide torque specifications for any fasteners. However, it does warn to be careful not to over-tighten fasteners during final assembly.
For front fender attachment on vehicles without factory fender flares, use two M4.2 X 30MM SEMS screws (item #13) and two black fender washers (item #6). For vehicles with factory fender flares, use two 8-15 X 1.75 pan head screws (item #8), two SST flat washers (item #9), and two black fender washers (item #6) instead. All fasteners are left loose during initial assembly and tightened after final positioning.
For both front and rear top mounting locations, use a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (item #3), a 1/4" aluminum flat washer (item #5), a black fender washer (item #6), and a 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (item #4). These fasteners are left loose during initial assembly and tightened after the mudguard is positioned level and upright.
The Z-clip is attached to the wheel well liner using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (item #3), a 1/4" aluminum flat washer (item #5), a black fender washer (item #6), and a 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (item #4). The mudguard is attached to the support brace using a 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (item #3), a 1/4" X 1" black fender washer (item #6), two 1/4" aluminum washers (item #5), and a 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (item #4). These fasteners are left loose during initial assembly and tightened after final positioning.
For rear fender attachment, use two 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screws (item #3), two 1/4" X 1" black fender washers (item #6), two 1/4" aluminum washers (item #5), and two 1/4-20 aluminum lock nuts (item #4). These fasteners are left loose during initial assembly and tightened after final positioning.
A .360" X 1.5" nylon washer (item #7) is installed when replacing the factory splash guard bolt during rear mounting. It is placed between the factory bolt location and the support brace.
Be careful not to over-tighten fasteners. This warning applies to both front and rear installations during final assembly.
No factory fasteners can be reused. The two factory rock guard fasteners on the front must be removed and discarded. The two plastic factory rock guard fasteners on the rear must be removed and discarded. The factory splash guard bolt on the rear must be removed and replaced with the support brace and nylon washer.
The Z-clip (item #11) is attached to the inboard corner of the mudguard and then secured to the wheel well liner. It provides additional support and positioning for the mudguard during front installation.
The 5.5" foam rubber bulb seal (item #13) is positioned against the vehicle body with the bulb facing outward. It is placed against the top of the factory rock guard and adjusted to follow the fender contour. It provides a seal between the mudguard and the vehicle body.
The support brace (item #10) is installed at the factory splash guard bolt location during rear mounting. It provides structural support for the mudguard attachment and is secured using the factory splash guard bolt location with a nylon washer.
It is recommended to start with the top fastener when tightening all fasteners. After the mudguard is positioned level and upright, tighten all fasteners, beginning with the top one.
