Whether you're on the job or off-roading through the wilderness, it doesn't take long for rocks and other debris to wreak havoc on the body of your truck. LUVERNE Textured Rubber Mud Guards are the perfect solution for maintaining that pristine, professional look. For the front or rear of the truck, these custom mud flaps add style and body protection. They are constructed from heavy-duty black rubber that stands up to road debris and sheds water with ease. They feature 18-gauge stainless steel plates to help protect the bottom edge and extend the life of the mud flaps. With their 3/8" thick, recycled rubber construction, Textured Rubber Mud Guards easily deflect everything from mud to gravel, protecting the body of your truck from scratches, chips and scuffs. They are also made to add a stylish accent to your truck, featuring stainless steel plates along the bottom edge of each flap. The plates are made from 18-gauge stainless steel to provide a heavy-duty, rust-resistant shield, and they feature a bright, high-polish finish for a long-lasting shine. The textured finish of the rubber mud flaps is also designed to easily hide minor scuffs and scratches and maintain a clean appearance. For an easy installation and a custom fit, these truck mud flaps are made vehicle-specific. This particular set fits specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). They install with corrosion-resistant fasteners and high-strength steel mounting brackets with a galvanized finish for long-lasting durability. Universal mud flaps are also available.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The LUVERNE Front or Rear 12" x 23" Rubber Mud Guards, Select Ford Super Duty (2 Flaps) 251723 (Part #FTNF251723) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes. Models 251720 (12" × 20") and 251723 (12" × 23") are designed for 2017 and newer Ford Super Duty Series trucks. Both models can be mounted on the front or rear of the vehicle. You will need one pair (left and right) for each location.
Yes, but the installation uses different fasteners. For vehicles with factory fender flares, use 8-15 × 1.75 pan head screws (item #8), SST flat washers (item #9), and black fender washers (item #6) instead of the standard M4.2 × 30 mm sems screws. You will also need to drill a 9/32" hole at each rock guard fastener location where the flare covers the original fasteners.
You will need a 9/32" drill bit. The manual does not specify other tools required, such as wrenches, sockets, or a drill. Consult the manufacturer for a complete tool list.
Each kit includes: one mudguard (left or right), aluminum hex head screws (1/4-20 × 1.5"), aluminum lock nuts (1/4-20), aluminum flat washers, black fender washers, nylon washers, pan head screws (for fender flare vehicles), SST flat washers (for fender flare vehicles), a support brace (rear only), SST Z-clips (front only), and a rubber bulb seal (rear only). See the parts list for complete quantities and part numbers.
No. The factory rock guard fasteners will not be reused. Remove and discard the two fasteners holding the rock guard to the bottom of the fender (front installation) or the two plastic fasteners holding the rock guard to the fender (rear installation). All new fasteners are provided in the kit.
Yes. You must drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location (front and rear). For vehicles with factory fender flares, you must also drill a 9/32" hole at each rock guard fastener location. For rear installation, you must drill a 9/32" hole through the wheel well liner (front only) or through the fender lip at the top mounting hole (rear).
1. Remove the two factory rock guard fasteners (do not reuse). 2. Attach the mudguard to the fender using M4.2 × 30 mm sems screws, black fender washers, and aluminum flat washers (or alternative fasteners if vehicle has factory fender flares); leave loose. 3. Attach an SST Z-clip to the inboard corner of the mudguard using a 1/4-20 × 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, aluminum flat washer, black fender washer, and aluminum lock nut; leave loose. 4. Position the mudguard in final position and drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. 5. Attach the mudguard to the fender at the top using a 1/4-20 × 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, aluminum flat washer, black fender washer, and aluminum lock nut. 6. Drill a 9/32" hole through the wheel well liner where the Z-clip is located and attach the Z-clip using the same fastener set. 7. Adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners, starting with the top fastener. 8. Repeat for the left side.
1. Remove the two factory plastic fasteners holding the rock guard to the fender (or drill a 9/32" hole if factory fender flare covers them); do not reuse. 2. Remove the factory splash guard bolt and install a 0.360" × 1.5" nylon washer and the support brace in its place. 3. Attach the mudguard to the fender using two 1/4-20 × 1.5" aluminum hex head screws, black fender washers, aluminum flat washers, and aluminum lock nuts; leave loose. 4. Attach the mudguard to the support brace using one 1/4-20 × 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, black fender washer, two aluminum flat washers, and aluminum lock nut; leave loose. 5. Position the mudguard in final position and drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. 6. Position the 5.5" foam rubber bulb seal against the vehicle body with the bulb facing outward, placed against the top of the factory rock guard, and adjusted to follow the fender contour. 7. Punch through the bulb seal at the top mounting location. 8. Attach the mudguard to the fender at the top using a 1/4-20 × 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, aluminum flat washer, black fender washer, and aluminum lock nut. 9. Adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners. 10. Repeat for the left side.
Leave fasteners loose during the initial attachment steps. Only after the mudguard is positioned in its final location and all mounting holes are drilled should you adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners. It is recommended to start with the top fastener. Be careful not to over-tighten fasteners.
The SST Z-clip provides additional support and stability to the mudguard. It is attached to the inboard corner of the mudguard and then secured to the wheel well liner. This creates a three-point mounting system (two fender attachment points plus the Z-clip) that helps keep the mudguard level and upright.
The 5.5" foam rubber bulb seal is positioned against the vehicle body at the top of the mudguard to seal the gap between the mudguard and the fender. It is placed with the bulb portion facing outward, positioned against the top of the factory rock guard, and adjusted to follow the contour of the fender. It is attached at the top mounting location.
The support brace (item #10) provides structural support to the rear mudguard. It is installed by removing the factory splash guard bolt and reinstalling it through a 0.360" × 1.5" nylon washer and the support brace. The mudguard is then attached to the support brace using a 1/4-20 × 1.5" aluminum hex head screw, black fender washer, two aluminum flat washers, and an aluminum lock nut.
The manual does not provide torque specifications for any fasteners. Contact Curt Manufacturing for torque values for the 1/4-20 aluminum hex head screws, aluminum lock nuts, M4.2 × 30 mm sems screws, and pan head screws used in this installation.
A 9/32" drill bit is required. It is used to drill holes through the fender lip at the top mounting location (front and rear), through the wheel well liner (front only), and at rock guard fastener locations on vehicles with factory fender flares.
Be careful not to over-tighten fasteners. Over-tightening can strip threads, crack the mudguard, or damage the fender. Tighten fasteners firmly but do not force them. It is recommended to start with the top fastener when tightening.
Yes, both models fit 2017 and newer Ford Super Duty Series trucks. Model 251720 is 12" × 20" and model 251723 is 12" × 23". Both can be mounted front or rear. If your truck has factory fender flares, different fasteners are used but installation is still compatible.
Yes. You must drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. For vehicles with factory fender flares, you must also drill at the rock guard fastener locations. Rear installation requires drilling through the wheel well liner (front) or fender lip (rear).
You will need a 9/32" drill bit. The manual does not specify other tools. Contact the manufacturer for a complete tool list including wrenches, sockets, and drill requirements.
No. Factory rock guard fasteners (front and rear) are removed and discarded. All new fasteners are provided in the kit. The factory splash guard bolt is reused on rear installations.
Leave fasteners loose during initial attachment. Tighten all fasteners only after the mudguard is positioned in its final location and all mounting holes are drilled. Start with the top fastener and be careful not to over-tighten.
Use 8-15 × 1.75 pan head screws (item #8), SST flat washers (item #9), and black fender washers (item #6) instead of M4.2 × 30 mm sems screws. You must also drill a 9/32" hole at each rock guard fastener location where the flare covers the original fasteners.
The 5.5" foam rubber bulb seal seals the gap between the mudguard and fender. Position it with the bulb facing outward, against the top of the factory rock guard, adjusted to follow the fender contour, and attach it at the top mounting location.
