Whether you're on the job or off-roading through the wilderness, it doesn't take long for rocks and other debris to wreak havoc on the body of your truck. LUVERNE Textured Rubber Mud Guards are the perfect solution for maintaining that pristine, professional look. For the front or rear of the truck, these custom mud flaps add style and body protection. They are constructed from heavy-duty black rubber that stands up to road debris and sheds water with ease. They feature 18-gauge stainless steel plates to help protect the bottom edge and extend the life of the mud flaps. With their 3/8" thick, recycled rubber construction, Textured Rubber Mud Guards easily deflect everything from mud to gravel, protecting the body of your truck from scratches, chips and scuffs. They are also made to add a stylish accent to your truck, featuring stainless steel plates along the bottom edge of each flap. The plates are made from 18-gauge stainless steel to provide a heavy-duty, rust-resistant shield, and they feature a bright, high-polish finish for a long-lasting shine. The textured finish of the rubber mud flaps is also designed to easily hide minor scuffs and scratches and maintain a clean appearance. For an easy installation and a custom fit, these truck mud flaps are made vehicle-specific. This particular set fits specific years of the Ford F150 (see application info to verify fitment). They install with corrosion-resistant fasteners and high-strength steel mounting brackets with a galvanized finish for long-lasting durability. Universal mud flaps are also available.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

These mudguards fit 2015 and newer Ford F-150 Series trucks. The 251520 is 12" X 20" and the 251523 is 12" X 23". Both can be mounted on the front or rear of the vehicle. The manual does not specify whether fitment varies by cab style, bed length, or generation within the 2015+ range, so contact the manufacturer to confirm your specific truck configuration.
Yes. Both the 251520 (12" X 20") and 251523 (12" X 23") mudguards can be mounted on the front or rear of the vehicle. The installation procedure differs between front and rear mounting, with rear installation requiring a support brace (Item #10) and different fastener attachment points.
If your vehicle has a factory fender flare, the installation procedure changes. For front mounting, you must use a 9/32" drill bit to drill a hole at each rock guard fastener location (Step 2). For rear mounting, you must drill a hole at each plastic fastener location if the factory fender flare covers them (Step 10). The manual does not specify whether the mudguards themselves will fit with a flare installed, so verify fitment with the manufacturer before purchasing.
You will need a drill with a 9/32" drill bit and a 3/8" drill bit. A 3/8" bit is required only if the support tube does not have a pre-existing hole during front mounting (Step 5). You will also need basic hand tools to install and tighten fasteners, including a wrench or socket for 1/4-20 nuts and screws. The manual does not specify whether a torque wrench is required.
Each mudguard kit includes: 1 mudguard (left or right), 8 aluminum hex head screws (1/4-20 X 1.5"), 8 aluminum lock nuts (1/4-20), 8 aluminum flat washers (.257 X .685 X .045"), 8 black fender washers (1/4"-1"), 2 nylon washers (.360 X 1.5"), 4 stainless steel pan head screws (8-15 X 1.75"), 4 stainless steel flat washers (.203 X .625 X .062"), and 2 rear support braces. The manual does not specify whether left and right mudguards are sold separately or as a pair.
Yes. For front mounting, you must remove the two fasteners holding the rock guard to the bottom of the fender (Step 2). These fasteners will not be reused. For rear mounting, you must remove the two plastic fasteners holding the rock guard to the fender (Step 10), which also will not be reused.
During front mounting, you must remove a square plastic plug from the square support tube located behind the fender liner (Step 3). This plug can be reused if desired. The manual does not provide details on the plug's size or function beyond its location.
Yes, drilling is required. For both front and rear mounting, you must drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location (Steps 6 and 14). For front mounting, if the support tube does not have a pre-existing hole, you must drill a 3/8" hole through the support tube (Step 5). If the vehicle has a factory fender flare, additional 9/32" holes must be drilled at rock guard fastener locations (Steps 2 and 10).
A 9/32" drill bit is required to drill the top mounting hole through the fender lip. This hole is drilled after the mudguard is positioned in its final location (Steps 6 and 14).
A 3/8" drill bit is required to drill a hole through the support tube during front mounting, but only if a pre-existing hole is not already provided (Step 5). The manual states there should be a pre-existing hole in the support tube; drilling is only necessary if one is not present.
1. Remove the two rock guard fasteners from the bottom of the fender (not reused). 2. Remove the square plastic plug from the support tube behind the fender liner. 3. Attach the mudguard to the fender using two pan head screws and washers; leave loose. 4. Attach the inboard corner of the mudguard to the support tube using a hex head screw, washers, and lock nut; leave loose. 5. Position the mudguard in final position and drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. 6. Attach the mudguard to the fender at the top using a hex head screw, washers, and lock nut. 7. Adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners, starting with the top fastener. 8. Repeat for the left side.
1. Remove the two plastic rock guard fasteners from the fender (not reused). If a factory fender flare covers them, drill 9/32" holes first. 2. Remove the factory splash guard bolt and install a nylon washer and support brace in its place. 3. Attach the mudguard to the fender using two hex head screws, washers, and lock nuts; leave loose. 4. Attach the mudguard to the support brace using one hex head screw, washers, and lock nut. 5. Position the mudguard in final position and drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip at the top mounting location. 6. Attach the mudguard to the fender at the top using a hex head screw, washers, and lock nut. 7. Adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners. 8. Repeat for the left side.
Leave fasteners loose during the initial attachment steps. For front mounting, leave the bottom fender fasteners loose (Step 4) and the inboard corner fasteners loose (Step 5). For rear mounting, leave the fender fasteners loose (Step 12) and the support brace fasteners loose (Step 13). Only after positioning the mudguard in its final location, drilling the top hole, and attaching the top fastener should you adjust the mudguard to be level and upright, then tighten all fasteners together (Steps 8 and 16).
It is recommended to start with the top fastener when tightening all fasteners (Step 8). The manual does not specify the order for tightening the remaining fasteners beyond this recommendation.
For the bottom fender attachment (Step 4), use two 8-15 X 1.75" pan head screws (Item #8), two #8 stainless steel flat washers (Item #9), and two black 1/4" X 1" flat washers (Item #6). For the top fender attachment (Step 7), use one 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (Item #3), two 1/4" aluminum flat washers (Item #5), one black 1/4"-1" fender washer (Item #6), and one 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (Item #4).
Use one 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (Item #3), two 1/4" aluminum flat washers (Item #5), one 1/4"-1" black fender washer (Item #6), and one 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (Item #4) to attach the inboard corner of the mudguard to the support tube (Step 5).
For the main fender attachment (Step 12), use two 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screws (Item #3), two 1/4" X 1" black fender washers (Item #6), four 1/4" aluminum washers (Item #5), and two 1/4-20 aluminum lock nuts (Item #4). For the top fender attachment (Step 15), use one 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (Item #3), two 1/4" aluminum washers (Item #5), one 1/4"-1" black fender washer (Item #6), and one 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (Item #4).
Use one 1/4-20 X 1.5" aluminum hex head screw (Item #3), one 1/4" X 1" black fender washer (Item #6), two 1/4" aluminum washers (Item #5), and one 1/4-20 aluminum lock nut (Item #4) to attach the mudguard to the support brace (Step 13).
A .360" X 1.5" nylon washer (Item #7) is installed under the support brace when you remove the factory splash guard bolt and replace it (Step 11). The manual does not specify the function of this washer beyond its placement in the assembly.
Be careful not to over-tighten fasteners. This warning is given for both front and rear installations (Steps 8 and 16). The manual does not provide specific torque specifications to prevent over-tightening.
The 251520 is 12" X 20" and the 251523 is 12" X 23". Both fit 2015 and newer Ford F-150 Series trucks and can be mounted on the front or rear. The installation procedure is identical for both sizes; the difference is only in the mudguard dimensions.
The parts list shows separate part numbers for left and right mudguards (Items 1 and 2 for the 12" X 20" model, Items 1 and 2 for the 12" X 23" model). The manual does not clarify whether both are included in a single kit or sold separately.
Yes, both models fit 2015 and newer Ford F-150 Series trucks and can be mounted front or rear. If your truck has a factory fender flare, drilling is required at rock guard fastener locations.
You need a drill with 9/32" and 3/8" bits, and basic hand tools for fasteners. A 3/8" bit is only needed if the front support tube lacks a pre-existing hole.
Yes. You must drill a 9/32" hole through the fender lip for the top mounting point. If the front support tube lacks a pre-existing hole, drill a 3/8" hole. If your truck has a factory fender flare, additional 9/32" holes are required at rock guard fastener locations.
Leave fasteners loose during initial attachment. Only after positioning the mudguard in its final location and attaching the top fastener should you adjust for level and upright alignment, then tighten all fasteners together. Start with the top fastener.
Do not over-tighten fasteners. The manual does not provide torque specifications, so use caution when tightening to avoid damaging the mudguard or fender.
Yes. Remove the two rock guard fasteners from the bottom of the fender (front) or the two plastic fasteners from the fender (rear). These fasteners are not reused.
