They feature high-traction rubber treads, a sleek finish and a non-corrosive build -- all to give you dependable footing whether you're headed for work or play. MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards are uniquely designed with extra length on the rear of the boards, reaching all the way to the back wheels. This provides a convenient and secure step for reaching into the truck bed and accessing the crossover truck tool box, headache rack or 5th wheel hitch. The entire length of the running boards is covered with a non-skid rubber tread for enhanced safety, even in wet, rainy conditions. Unlike plastic treads, rubber offers better grip for your boots or shoes. The base of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is an extruded aluminum alloy, providing excellent strength, while remaining lightweight and completely rust-free. To give these truck side steps a touch of style, they are fitted with a polished stainless steel trim that contours around the boards and gives them a look similar to popular nerf bars. The trim piece is polished to a mirror-like shine and easily withstands rain, snow, dirt and more. To make installation fast, easy and secure, LUVERNE MegaStep wheel-to-wheel steps are made vehicle-specific. Each set has a specific board length and vehicle-specific brackets, providing a custom fit for each unique truck. The brackets install using pre-existing mounting points to eliminate difficult modifications, and the running boards can be positioned inward, outward, forward or backward to suit personal preferences. This particular set of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is designed for specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty and F350 Super Duty (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. Follow this sequence: (1) Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third mounting patterns and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern, with threads facing inside the rocker panel. (2) Attach the front and standard cab mounting brackets to the vehicle, leveling them before tightening. (3) Attach the Mega Step board to the mounting brackets using square head screws. (4) Attach the rear mounting bracket against the top of the vehicle spring hanger. (5) Tighten all fasteners to specification.
Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (Item #6) in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third mounting patterns and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. Insert the threaded half of the U-nut through the large access holes in the rocker panel and slide it towards the round hole until it seats. The threads must face inside the rocker panel.
Position the front mounting bracket (Item #2) and standard mounting brackets (Item #3) so the top hole lines up with the multi-thread U-nut and the bottom hole lines up with the hole in the pinch weld. Attach the top with a 5/16" × 1.00" zinc plated hex head cap screw (Item #7) and 5/16" zinc plated flat washer (Item #8). Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" × 1.00" black plated hex head cap screw (Item #9), 5/16" black plated flat washer (Item #10), and 5/16" serrated flange nut (Item #5). Level the brackets before tightening.
Insert five 5/16" square head screws (Item #4) in the center slot on the underside of the step. The front four sets attach to the cab mounting brackets; the fifth screw attaches to the rear mounting bracket. Position the step so the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the rear of the step is about even with the front metallic flange of the rear wheel well. Locate the step in and out as desired, then install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws.
Attach the rear mounting bracket (Item #11) against the top of the vehicle spring hanger so that the flat surfaces meet. Install a 7/16-14 × 1-1/2" hex head cap screw (Item #13) down through the top of the upper bracket (Item #12) and the bracket, then attach a 7/16-14 serrated flange nut and washer (Items #14 and #15). Install the lower mounting bracket (Item #12) so the vertical surfaces meet, using 5/16-18 × 1.00" hex head cap screws, washers, and serrated flange nuts (Items #7, #8, #5). Install the Mega Step on top of the lower bracket, align with the front step, and tighten with 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts.
Tighten all 5/16" fasteners to 19 lb-ft. Tighten all 7/16" fasteners to 40 lb-ft.

The kit includes 10 square head screws, 5/16-18 UNC (Item #4, part 106880). These screws are inserted in the center slot on the underside of the Mega Step board and engage with the slots in the mounting brackets.
Use 5/16-18 UNC × 1.00" zinc plated hex head cap screws (Item #7, part 100647). The kit includes 12 of these screws. They attach the top of the cab mounting brackets to the U-nuts in the rocker panel.
Use 5/16-18 UNC × 1.00" stainless steel black plated hex head cap screws (Item #9, part 106997). The kit includes 8 of these screws. They attach the bottom of the cab mounting brackets to the pinch weld.
Use 7/16-14 × 1-1/2" zinc plated hex head cap screws (Item #13, part 100070). The kit includes 2 of these screws. They attach the upper rear mounting bracket to the vehicle spring hanger and must be tightened to 40 lb-ft.
Two types of flat washers are included: (1) 5/16" zinc plated flat washers (Item #8, part 100034), 0.375" ID × 0.875" OD × 0.083" thick, qty 12; and (2) 5/16" stainless steel black plated flat washers (Item #10, part 106998), 0.375" ID × 0.875" OD × 0.083" thick, qty 8. The zinc plated washers are used with the top fasteners and the black plated washers with the bottom fasteners.
Two sizes of serrated flange nuts are included: (1) 5/16-18 UNC stainless steel nuts (Item #5, part 102680), qty 32; and (2) 7/16-14 UNC zinc plated nuts (Item #14, part 103737), qty 2. The 5/16" nuts are used throughout the installation and tightened to 19 lb-ft. The 7/16" nuts are used at the rear mounting bracket and tightened to 40 lb-ft.
The kit includes 8 multi-thread U-nuts, 5/16-18 UNC, steel, black (Item #6, part 104264). These are installed in the rocker panel mounting holes with threads facing inside the panel, and the top of the cab mounting brackets attach to these U-nuts.
The kit includes 2 flat washers, 7/16", steel, 0.464" × 1.243" × 0.064" thick, zinc plated (Item #15, part 100081). These washers are used with the 7/16-14 × 1-1/2" hex head cap screws at the rear mounting bracket.
