They feature high-traction rubber treads, a sleek finish and a non-corrosive build -- all to give you dependable footing whether you're headed for work or play. MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards are uniquely designed with extra length on the rear of the boards, reaching all the way to the back wheels. This provides a convenient and secure step for reaching into the truck bed and accessing the crossover truck tool box, headache rack or 5th wheel hitch. The entire length of the running boards is covered with a non-skid rubber tread for enhanced safety, even in wet, rainy conditions. Unlike plastic treads, rubber offers better grip for your boots or shoes. The base of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is an extruded aluminum alloy, providing excellent strength, while remaining lightweight and completely rust-free. To give these truck side steps a touch of style, they are fitted with a polished stainless steel trim that contours around the boards and gives them a look similar to popular nerf bars. The trim piece is polished to a mirror-like shine and easily withstands rain, snow, dirt and more. To make installation fast, easy and secure, LUVERNE MegaStep wheel-to-wheel steps are made vehicle-specific. Each set has a specific board length and vehicle-specific brackets, providing a custom fit for each unique truck. The brackets install using pre-existing mounting points to eliminate difficult modifications, and the running boards can be positioned inward, outward, forward or backward to suit personal preferences. This particular set of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is designed for specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

Yes, the 571529 W2W MEGA STEP brackets are designed for 2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups with rocker panel mount application. However, if you have a Regular Cab or Super Cab, two of the six mounting brackets will remain unused.
Yes. The 571529 kit includes six mounting brackets, but Regular Cab and Super Cab pickups will use only four. Two brackets will remain unused. This is normal and expected for these cab styles.
No. The 571529 is a no-drill application. Installation uses factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel, so no drilling is required.
The kit includes: 6 mounting brackets (552643), 12 nylon isolator washers 1.5" (108442), 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts (105859), 5 5/16-18 flange nuts (106996), 5 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (106997), 5 5/16" flat washers (106998), 1 rear inboard left bracket (552752), 1 rear inboard right bracket (552753), 2 rear outboard brackets (551721), and 1 rear clamp bracket left (552754). The step board assembly is ordered separately.
Read the complete instructions first, then verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand before beginning installation. You will also need the separate instruction sheet that comes with your step board assembly, as step board attachment is a required part of the installation process.
Install the step mounting brackets on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. On the left side, install two 1.5" isolator washers, the step mounting bracket, and two M8-1.25 flange nuts on each set of studs. Repeat the same process for the right side. Refer to Figure 1 in the manual for the exact positioning.
Yes. On the driver's side (left) only, you must remove the cable guide bracket from the leaf spring shackle before installing the rear inboard bracket. The cable guide bracket will no longer be needed and may be discarded.
Remove the nut on the spring shackle bolt. Install the rear inboard bracket (left side uses part 552752, right side uses 552753) onto the spring shackle bolt. Ensure the inboard bracket is vertical, then tighten to 80 LB-FT. Refer to Figure 2 in the manual.
The rear inboard bracket must be tightened to 80 LB-FT on the spring shackle bolt.
No. When you first install the rear outboard bracket using two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts, two 5/16" flat washers, and two 5/16-18 flange nuts, leave it loose. Tighten it only after you have attached the step board to the mounting brackets and adjusted the rear outboard bracket for your specific step assembly.
1. Install rocker panel mounting brackets on both sides with isolator washers and flange nuts. 2. Check that all rocker panel brackets are level and tighten. 3. Remove cable guide bracket from driver's side leaf spring shackle. 4. Install rear inboard bracket on spring shackle bolt and tighten to 80 LB-FT. 5. Install rear outboard bracket but leave it loose. 6. Attach step board following its separate instruction sheet. 7. Adjust rear outboard bracket and tighten. 8. Install rear clamp bracket over the cables. 9. Repeat steps for the right side.
Using one 5/16-18 x 1" bolt, one 5/16" flat washer, and one 5/16-18 flange nut, install the rear clamp bracket (552754) over the cables removed from the leaf spring shackle in Step 5, attaching it to the rear inboard bracket. This is done on the driver's side only.
The step board is attached after the rear outboard bracket is installed but while it is still loose. You attach the step board following its separate instruction sheet, then adjust the rear outboard bracket to fit your step assembly, and only then tighten the bolts securing the outboard bracket.
Yes. After installing the left side with two 1.5" isolator washers, the step mounting bracket, and two M8-1.25 flange nuts on the factory studs, you repeat the exact same process for the right side.
The rear outboard bracket is attached using two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (part 106997), two 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), and two 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996). The bracket should be left loose initially and tightened only after the step board is attached and adjusted.
Each rocker panel mounting bracket uses two 1.5" nylon isolator washers (part 108442) and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859) installed on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. Six brackets total are included in the kit.
The 1.5" nylon isolator washers (part 108442) are installed between the rocker panel studs and the mounting brackets. Two washers are used per bracket on the rocker panel.
After installing all rocker panel mounting brackets, check that all brackets are level before tightening all flange nuts.
