LUVERNE MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards give you the best of both worlds with a ready-to-work construction and the stylish of popular nerf bars. They feature high-traction rubber treads, a sleek finish and a non-corrosive build -- all to give you dependable footing whether you're headed for work or play. MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards are uniquely designed with extra length on the rear of the boards, reaching all the way to the back wheels. This provides a convenient and secure step for reaching into the truck bed and accessing the crossover truck tool box, headache rack or 5th wheel hitch. The entire length of the running boards is covered with a non-skid rubber tread for enhanced safety, even in wet, rainy conditions. Unlike plastic treads, rubber offers better grip for your boots or shoes. The base of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is an extruded aluminum alloy, providing excellent strength, while remaining lightweight and completely rust-free. To give these truck side steps a touch of style, they are fitted with a polished stainless steel trim that contours around the boards and gives them a look similar to popular nerf bars. The trim piece is polished to a mirror-like shine and easily withstands rain, snow, dirt and more. To make installation fast, easy and secure, LUVERNE MegaStep wheel-to-wheel steps are made vehicle-specific. Each set has a specific board length and vehicle-specific brackets, providing a custom fit for each unique truck. The brackets install using pre-existing mounting points to eliminate difficult modifications, and the running boards can be positioned inward, outward, forward or backward to suit personal preferences. This particular set of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is designed for specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE MegaStep 6-1/2" wheel-to-wheel running boards are the ultimate combination of style and functionality, featuring 5" wide rubber treads that extend the full length of the side steps for dependable, non-skid traction wherever the road takes you.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The 571529 W2W MEGA STEP/SES brackets are designed for 2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups with rocker panel mounting. If you are installing on a regular cab or super cab pickup, there will be two unused brackets in the kit, as the system is configured for crew cab applications. Confirm your truck model and cab style before purchase.
Yes. The 571529 is a no-drill application. It uses factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel and the leaf spring shackle bolt for mounting, so no drilling is required.
The kit includes: 6 mounting brackets (part 552643), 12 nylon isolator washers 1.5" (part 108442), 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859), 5 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996), 5 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (part 106997), 5 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), 1 left rear inboard bracket (part 552752), 1 right rear inboard bracket (part 552753), 2 rear outboard brackets (part 551721), and 1 left rear clamp bracket (part 552754). The step board assembly is ordered separately.
Yes, but only on the left (driver) side of the vehicle. The cable guide bracket must be removed from the leaf spring shackle before installing the rear inboard bracket. Once removed, the cable guide bracket will no longer be needed and may be discarded.
On the left side, install two 1.5" isolator washers (part 108442), the step mounting bracket (part 552643), and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859) on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. Repeat this process for the remaining brackets on the right side. Check that all brackets are level, then tighten all flange nuts.
The rear inboard bracket must be tightened to 80 lb-ft. Ensure the inboard bracket is vertical before tightening.
No. After installing the rear outboard bracket with two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (part 106997), two 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), and two 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996), leave this bracket loose. Tighten it only after you attach the step board to the mounting brackets and adjust the rear outboard bracket for your specific step assembly.
1. Install rocker panel mounting brackets on the left side with isolator washers and flange nuts. 2. Repeat for remaining brackets. 3. Check all brackets are level and tighten. 4. Remove cable guide bracket from left leaf spring shackle. 5. Install rear inboard bracket on spring shackle bolt and tighten to 80 lb-ft. 6. Install rear outboard bracket but leave loose. 7. Attach step board per its separate instruction sheet. 8. Adjust rear outboard bracket and tighten. 9. Install rear clamp bracket over cables. 10. Repeat steps 2–9 for the right side.
Install the rear clamp bracket (part 552754) over the cables removed in step 5, using one 5/16-18 x 1" bolt (part 106997), one 5/16" flat washer (part 106998), and one 5/16-18 flange nut (part 106996). Mount it onto the rear inboard bracket.
Yes. The step board must be attached to the mounting brackets according to the instruction sheet included with your step board assembly. This is a separate document from the bracket installation instructions.
2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups. Regular cab and super cab models will have two unused brackets.
No. This is a no-drill application using factory-provided studs and the leaf spring shackle bolt.
80 lb-ft. Ensure the bracket is vertical before tightening.
No. Leave it loose until after the step board is attached and adjusted, then tighten.
Yes, on the left (driver) side only. Remove it from the leaf spring shackle before installing the rear inboard bracket.
Two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (part 106997), two 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), and two 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996).
