LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting. Ensure your vehicle has existing mounting holes on the interior wall of the rocker panel, as these are used to attach the brackets.
Yes. When installing the step pads on the steps, you must drill (5) 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. The pads are then attached with (5) 8-18X1/2" TEK screws (Item #6). This drilling is required for each step pad.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on Sheet #2 to position the pads for your particular vehicle. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations. Note that due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately ½" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. The pad locations in the guide are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
For a Silverado/Sierra Double Cab, Pad A should be positioned at 14-3/4" and Pad B at 46-3/4". These are suggested locations and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
For a Ford F150 Super Crew Cab, Pad A should be positioned at 18-1/4" and Pad B at 56-1/2". These are suggested locations and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
For a RAM Crew Cab, Pad A should be positioned at 10-1/2" and Pad B at 48". These are suggested locations and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
For a Chevrolet Express Van or GMC Savana Van, Pad A should be positioned at 7-1/2". Pad B is listed as N/A (not applicable) for these vehicles. These are suggested locations and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
Install the end caps (Item #3) as shown in Figure 1, tightening the nuts to 5 LB FT.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (Item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 LB FT.
Attach the mounting brackets to the vehicle using existing mounting holes on the interior wall of the rocker panel. Position the brackets so that both holes line up with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel. Attach the top of the bracket with an M8-1.25X25MM zinc-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" flat washer, and lock washer (Items #6, #7, and #8). Level the brackets and tighten the fasteners to 19 LB FT. Brackets are identified with notches on the inboard edge: 1 notch for bracket #1 (front), etc.
Insert four (4) 5/16" square head screws (Item #10) in the center slot on the underside of the step, and one (1) into the outer slot for the box bracket. Position the step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the cab. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #9) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 LB FT. You can locate the step in and out as desired.
Insert the clipped bolt (Item #16) into the inboard bracket (Item #15) and place a nut (Item #18) on just a few threads, leaving it loose. Hold the bracket up to the leaf spring mount and place the clipped bolt into the obround hole, finger tight. Insert the top screw (Item #17) from behind the frame rail through the leaf spring mount and inboard bracket, and place a nut (Item #18) on finger tight. Mount the outboard bracket (Item #14) to the inboard bracket using (2) screws, washers, and nuts (Items #11, #12, and #13). End caps: 5 LB FT. All other fasteners (step mounting, bracket mounting, rear bracket): 19 LB FT. Use a torque wrench to ensure proper tightening.
Verify all parts are on hand using the service parts list. Ensure your Toyota Tundra has existing mounting holes on the interior rocker panel wall. Identify bracket positions using the notches on the inboard edge (1 notch = bracket #1, front).
Four square head screws (Item #4) are inserted into the step's bottom slots, then secured with 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) tightened to 19 LB FT. The step must be centered front to rear on the vehicle.
