LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The manual includes a step pad location guide for Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, RAM, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Tacoma models. Consult the bracket package instructions for your specific vehicle to confirm fitment.
The MEGA Steps W2W Brackets (model 570757) fit 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra Regular Cab and Double Cab pickups with 6.5' and 8.0' boxes, and 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra CrewMax pickups with 5.5' boxes. These brackets mount to existing threaded inserts in the rocker panel and leaf spring mounts.
The O-MEGA II kit includes: 2 step extrusions (silver or black, in 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths), 4 aluminum step pads, 4 plastic end caps, 24 square head screws (5/16-18 x 1"), 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 20 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). You will also need the bracket package specific to your vehicle, which is sold separately.
The W2W bracket kit includes: 2 mounting brackets #1 (part 551362), 2 brackets #2 (part 551363), 2 brackets #3 (part 551364), 2 brackets #4 (part 551365), 16 M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws, 16 lock washers (5/16"), 16 flat washers (5/16"), 20 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), 10 square head screws (5/16-18), 4 hex head cap screws (5/16 x 1.00), 4 steel washers, 4 flanged nuts (5/16"-18), 2 rear outboard brackets, 1 left and 1 right inboard rear bracket, 2 clipped head bolts (7/16-14 x 1.00), 2 hex head screws (7/16-14 x 1.25), and 4 hex flanged nuts (7/16-14). The step board is sold separately.
Yes. You must drill 5 holes of 1/8" diameter through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. These holes are then used to attach the step pads with 5 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2") provided in the kit. Repeat this process for all step pads.
Step pad position varies by vehicle model. The manual provides a location guide on sheet 2 with specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B positions for each vehicle. For example, Silverado/Sierra Double Cab uses 14-3/4" for Pad A and 46-3/4" for Pad B. However, the manual notes that these are suggestions only and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
1. Install step pads on step plates by drilling 5 holes of 1/8" and attaching with tek screws. 2. Install square head bolts into designated slots in the bottom of step plates. 3. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb ft. 4. Position the step on mounting brackets so square head screws are in bracket slots and step is centered front to rear. 5. Install serrated flange nuts on square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft. You must follow the bracket package instructions specific to your vehicle before attaching the steps.
1. Attach mounting brackets to vehicle using existing threaded inserts in rocker panel with M8-1.25 x 25mm screws, flat washers, and lock washers, tightened to 19 lb ft. For Regular Cab, use only brackets #1 and #3. 2. Attach step board to cab mounting brackets using square head screws and serrated flange nuts, tightened to 19 lb ft. 3. Attach W2W rear bracket to leaf spring mount: insert clipped bolt loosely, position bracket, insert top screw loosely, then mount outboard bracket to inboard bracket. 4. Mount step board to outboard bracket with serrated flange nuts, tightened to 19 lb ft.
The brackets are identified by notches on the inboard edge: 1 notch for bracket #1, 2 notches for bracket #2, etc. Bracket #1 must be positioned at the front of the vehicle. Position both holes to line up with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel. For Regular Cab applications, use only brackets #1 and #3 for cab mounts. Level the brackets before tightening fasteners to 19 lb ft.
The nuts on the end caps (item #3) must be tightened to 5 lb ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) installed on the square head screws (item #4) must be tightened to 19 lb ft.
All fasteners on the W2W brackets must be tightened to 19 lb ft. This includes: the M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws attaching brackets to the rocker panel, the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on square head screws for the step board, and all fasteners on the rear W2W bracket assembly.
Yes. The brackets attach to the vehicle using existing mounting holes on the interior wall of the rocker panel. These holes have threaded inserts that accept the M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws. The rear W2W bracket attaches to the leaf spring mount using existing holes.
Yes. Regular Cab applications use only brackets #1 (item #2) and #3 (item #4) for the cab mounts. CrewMax and Double Cab applications use all four bracket numbers. The step board length will vary depending on the application.
Insert two 5/16" square head screws into the outer slot on the underside of the step board. Position the step board on the outboard bracket so the square head screws are located in the bracket slots. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft. You can locate the step in and out as desired before final tightening.
Insert four 5/16" square head screws into the center slot on the underside of the step board. Position the step board on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are located in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear on the cab. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft. You can locate the step in and out as desired before final tightening.
When attaching the W2W rear bracket to the leaf spring mount, leave the clipped bolt (item #16) and top screw (item #17) loose initially. Place a nut on just a few threads of the clipped bolt and finger-tighten the top screw. Only tighten all fasteners to 19 lb ft after the outboard bracket is mounted to the inboard bracket and the step board is attached.
The manual does not specify required tools. You will need a drill with a 1/8" bit to drill holes for the step pads, and standard wrenches or sockets to tighten fasteners to the specified torque values (5 lb ft for end caps, 19 lb ft for square head screws). You will also need the bracket package specific to your vehicle, which may have additional tool requirements.
The manual does not specify required tools. You will need wrenches or sockets to tighten fasteners to 19 lb ft, and a wrench or socket to hold nuts while tightening bolts. You may need a level to ensure brackets are level before tightening. A torque wrench is recommended to achieve the specified 19 lb ft torque value accurately.
