Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Steps are universal side steps available in models 583072, 583078, 583088, 584072, 584078, and 584088. They are designed as a universal application, meaning they can be adapted to multiple vehicle types when used with the appropriate vehicle-specific bracket package. The exact fitment depends on which bracket package you purchase for your vehicle.
No. The Curt Mega Steps Brackets (model 570752) are designed specifically for 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab and Crew Max pickups only. They will not fit other model years or other Toyota truck models.
Each O-MEGA II step kit includes: 2 aluminum extrusions (available in silver or black, in three length options), 4 aluminum step pads, 4 plastic end caps, 24 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1"), 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 20 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your model number. You will also need the vehicle-specific bracket package, which is purchased separately.
The Mega Steps Brackets kit (model 570752) includes: 4 mounting brackets (2 each of #1 and #2 styles, plus 2 each of #3 and #4 styles), 16 M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws, 16 5/16" flat washers, 16 5/16" lock washers, and 16 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts. The step board assembly is sold separately and length varies by application.
Yes. Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, you must drill 5 holes using the step pad as a guide. Each hole is 1/8" in diameter. The step pads are then attached with five 8-18 x 1/2" tek screws (item #6) provided in the kit.
Step pad position varies by vehicle model. The manual provides a positioning guide table on sheet 2 that lists specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations for each vehicle type, including Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, Ram, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F-150, Ford Super Duty, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Tacoma models. However, the manual notes that these locations are suggestions only and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
The end caps (item #3) should be tightened to 5 lb-ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) installed on the square head screws (item #4) should be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
Position the step so that the square head screws (item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Once positioned correctly, install the 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
The Mega Steps Brackets are identified by notches on the inboard edge. Bracket #1 has 1 notch and is positioned at the front of the vehicle, bracket #2 has 2 notches, bracket #3 has 3 notches, and bracket #4 has 4 notches. You will receive 2 of each bracket type. Position them so that both holes line up with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel.
The M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws (item #6) that attach the top of the bracket should be tightened to 19 lb-ft. The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws should also be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
Yes. After positioning the brackets so that both holes line up with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel, you must level the brackets before tightening the fasteners to 19 lb-ft.
Yes. After inserting the four 5/16" square head screws in the center slot on the underside of the step and positioning it on the mounting brackets, you can locate the step in and out as desired before installing the 5/16" serrated flange nuts and tightening to 19 lb-ft.
The step pads are attached using five 8-18 x 1/2" tek screws (item #6), which are stainless steel with bronze plating. These screws are installed through 1/8" diameter holes drilled using the step pad as a guide.
The brackets are attached using M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws (item #6), 5/16" flat washers (item #8), and 5/16" lock washers (item #7). These fasteners are tightened to 19 lb-ft.
The square head screws are 5/16-18 x 1" with Magniguard coating. The kit includes 24 of these screws (item #4).
The serrated flange nuts are 5/16-18 UNC (unified national coarse) and are made of stainless steel. They are tightened to 19 lb-ft on both the O-MEGA II steps and the Mega Steps Brackets.
The O-MEGA II is a universal step that requires a vehicle-specific bracket package. Check the bracket package compatibility for your vehicle model, year, and cab style. The Mega Steps Brackets are designed only for 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab and Crew Max pickups.
No. The bracket package is sold separately and is vehicle-specific. You must purchase the correct bracket package for your vehicle model before installation.
Yes. You must drill five 1/8" diameter holes in the step plates to attach the step pads using tek screws. No drilling is required for the step itself to the brackets.
Tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws to 19 lb-ft. The end caps should be tightened to 5 lb-ft.
Tighten the M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws to 19 lb-ft. Also tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws to 19 lb-ft.
Yes, for the Mega Steps Brackets on Toyota Tundra. Level the brackets after positioning them on the rocker panel and before tightening the fasteners to 19 lb-ft.
