Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes. You must drill 5 holes of 1/8" diameter through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. The step pads are then attached with 5 tek screws (8-18 x 1/2") provided in the kit. This drilling is required for each step pad.
Before attaching the O-MEGA steps to the brackets, place the step pads on top of the step plates. Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 to position the pads for your specific vehicle model. The guide provides measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations. Note that these locations are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
1. Install step pads on step plates using the location guide for your vehicle, drilling 5 holes of 1/8" and securing with tek screws. 2. Install the required number of square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb ft. 4. Position the step on mounting brackets so square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. 5. Install serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
1. Position the brackets on the vehicle so both holes line up with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel interior wall. Brackets are identified by notches on the inboard edge (#1 notch for bracket #1, etc.), with #1 at the front. 2. Attach the top of each bracket with an M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screw, 5/16" flat washer, and lock washer. 3. Level the brackets and tighten fasteners to 19 lb ft. 4. Insert four 5/16" square head screws in the center slot on the underside of the step. 5. Position the step on the brackets so square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear on the cab. 6. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
The end cap nuts (item 3) must be tightened to 5 lb ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 5) on the square head screws (item 4) must be tightened to 19 lb ft.

Yes. After positioning the step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear on the cab, you can locate the step in and out as desired before tightening the serrated flange nuts to 19 lb ft.
The notches on the inboard edge of the brackets identify their position. One notch indicates bracket #1, two notches indicate bracket #2, and so on. Bracket #1 must be positioned at the front of the vehicle. Proper positioning is critical for correct installation.
