LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The manual does not specify required tools. However, based on the installation process, you will need a drill with a 1/8" bit (to drill holes for step pad attachment), a wrench or socket set to tighten fasteners, and a torque wrench to achieve the specified torque values of 5 lb-ft and 19 lb-ft.
The manual does not specify required tools. However, based on the installation process, you will need a wrench or socket set to tighten fasteners, a torque wrench to achieve the specified torque value of 19 lb-ft, and possibly a level to ensure brackets are properly positioned.
Before starting installation, read the instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. You must also obtain and follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package for your vehicle, as the bracket mounting instructions are not included in this document.
Before starting installation, read the instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. Confirm your vehicle is a 2007 or newer Toyota Tundra Regular Cab, Double Cab, or CrewMax with the correct bed length (6.5', 8.0', or 5.5' depending on cab style). Verify that your vehicle has existing mounting holes on the interior wall of the rocker panel and a leaf spring mount for rear bracket attachment.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 to position the step pads for your vehicle model. The guide provides two pad positions (Pad A and Pad B) measured in inches from a reference point for each vehicle. Note that these locations are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion. Position the pads before drilling and attaching them to the step plates.
Yes. Drilling is required to attach the step pads to the step plates. Using the step pad as a guide, you must drill 5 holes of 1/8" diameter through the step pad into the step plate. The pads are then attached with 5 tek screws (part 107958, #8-18 x 1/2").
No drilling is required. The W2W brackets mount to existing threaded inserts in the rocker panel and existing mounting holes on the leaf spring mount. All fasteners are bolted or screwed into place without drilling.
End caps (item 3) must be tightened to 5 lb-ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 5) on the square head screws (item 4) must be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
All fasteners on the W2W brackets must be tightened to 19 lb-ft. This includes: the M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws attaching the mounting brackets to the rocker panel (step 2.2), the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws attaching the step to the cab mounting brackets (step 3.3), and all fasteners attaching the rear W2W bracket to the leaf spring mount and step board (step 4.4).
Install the required number of square head bolts (item 4) into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. The exact number depends on your bracket package. These bolts are then positioned into the slots of the mounting brackets when the step is mounted.
Position the step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (item 4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
The brackets mount to existing threaded inserts in the rocker panel interior wall. Position the bracket so both holes line up with the threaded inserts. Attach the top of the bracket with an M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" flat washer, and lock washer (items 6, 7, 8). Level the brackets and tighten the fasteners to 19 lb-ft. Note: For Regular Cab applications, use only brackets #1 (item 2) and #3 (item 4) for the cab mounts.
Insert four 5/16" square head screws (item 10) in the center slot on the underside of the step, and one into the outer slot for the box bracket. Position the step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are located in the slots and the step is centered front to rear on the cab. Locate the step in and out as desired, then install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 9) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
1. Insert a clipped bolt (item 16) into the inboard bracket (item 15) and place a nut (item 18) on just a few threads, leaving it loose. 2. Hold the bracket up to the leaf spring mount and place the clipped bolt into the obround hole, finger tight. 3. Insert the top screw (item 17) from behind the frame rail through the leaf spring mount and inboard bracket, and place a nut (item 18) on finger tight. 4. Mount the outboard bracket (item 14) to the inboard bracket using 2 screws, washers, and nuts (items 11, 12, 13). 5. Mount the step board (item 1) to the outboard bracket with 2 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 9) on square head screws and tighten all fasteners to 19 lb-ft.
The brackets are identified with notches on the inboard edge to indicate their position. One notch is for bracket #1, two notches for bracket #2, and so on. Bracket #1 is positioned at the front of the vehicle. These notches ensure brackets are installed in the correct order and location.
No. For Regular Cab applications, you use only brackets #1 (item 2) and #3 (item 4) for the cab mounts. Brackets #2 and #4 are not used on Regular Cab models.
O-MEGA II steps are universal, but fitment depends on the bracket package used. You must obtain the bracket package specific to your vehicle and follow its instructions. The manual does not include bracket package instructions.
