LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.

They fit Silverado/Sierra (Double, Extended, and Crew Cab), Chevrolet Express Van, GMC Savana Van, RAM (Quad, Crew, and Mega Cab), Ford F150 (Super Cab and Super Crew Cab), and Ford Super Duty (Super Cab and Crew Cab) pickups. Installation requires a vehicle-specific bracket package (sold separately) and step pad positioning varies by vehicle model.
The W2W MEGA/GRIP Step Brackets (models 571439/401439) are mounting brackets designed specifically for 2014 and newer RAM 2500 Pickups. They are available in both MS (Mega Step) and GRIP variants. The brackets accommodate Regular Cab, Quad Cab, Crew Cab, and Mega Cab configurations, though Regular Cab pickups use only the front and rear cab mounting brackets; the center mounting bracket may be discarded.

Yes. W2W MEGA/GRIP brackets fit 2014+ RAM 2500 Regular Cab pickups. However, for Regular Cab models, only the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used. The center mounting bracket and its fasteners may be discarded and are not needed for installation.
Yes. The orientation of the rear mounting bracket differs between Mega Cab pickups and Regular/Quad/Crew Cab pickups when installing W2W MEGA/GRIP brackets. The manual references Figure 1 for Reg/Quad/Crew Cab orientation and Figure 2 for Mega Cab orientation during step 4.3 of the installation.
Six aluminum step pads (part number 107957) in black are included with O-MEGA II steps. These pads are mounted on top of the step plates using 1/8" holes and 8-18×1/2" tek screws (part number 107958, 30 provided). The exact positioning of the pads varies by vehicle model and is shown in the Step Pad Location Guide table on page 2.
O-MEGA II steps include: 28 square head screws 5/16-18×1" (part 106880), 28 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (part 102680), 30 tek screws #8-18×1/2" (part 107958), 4 plastic end caps (part 107956), and 6 aluminum step pads (part 107957). The square head screws and flange nuts attach the step to the mounting brackets; the tek screws attach the step pads to the step plates.
W2W MEGA/GRIP brackets include: 4 M12-110mm hex head screws (part 103444), 2 M12-160mm hex head screws (part 109451), 4 large washers 2.0" (part 105909), 6 rubber cushion washers (part 102592), 16 flat washers 3/8" (part 100062), 28 serrated flange nuts 3/8-16 (part 100181), 4 studs 3/8-16×3.0" (part 104697), 2 double-ended studs 3/8-16×4.0" (part 104686), 10 hex head screws 3/8-16×1.0" (part 100040), and 2 flat washers 1/2" (part 100118).
Before starting installation, read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. Then follow the instructions included with your specific vehicle bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle. Do not begin attaching the O-MEGA steps to the brackets until the brackets are installed.

You will need to remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts (which will not be reused).
Position the step pads on top of the step plates using the Step Pad Location Guide table (page 2) for your vehicle model. Using the step pad as a guide, drill five 1/8" holes through the step plate. Attach each pad with five 8-18×1/2" tek screws (part 107958). For short boxes, mount the box step pad first approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. Repeat for all step pads.
Install the end caps (part 107956) as shown in Figure 1 of the manual, tightening the nuts to 5 LB FT. The end caps are plastic and measure 2.95×6.70 inches.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (part 106880) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 LB FT.
Use a 4" stud (part 104686) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (part 104697) for the rear brackets. On the short threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (part 100181) backwards to the bottom of the thread, then install a 3/8" flat washer (part 100062) and rubber cushion washer (part 102592) tight against the nut. The stud end must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards near the bottom of the threads.
Insert the stud from the inboard (frame) side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that allows the rubber washer to seat firmly against the frame side wall. Install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (part 100181) on the outboard end of the stud, finger tight only at this stage.
Remove the factory front body mount bolt (not reused). Using an M12-110mm bolt (part 103444) and a 2.0" washer (part 105909), install the front mounting bracket (part 552850 or 552862 depending on variant) to the front body mount. Leave the fasteners finger tight at this stage; final tightening comes later.

Using an M12-110mm bolt (part 103444) and a 2.0" washer (part 105909), install the center mounting bracket (part 552852 or 552864 depending on variant) to the center body mount. Leave the fasteners finger tight at this stage. Note: For Regular Cab pickups, this bracket and its fasteners may be discarded.
Remove the factory rear body mount bolt (not reused). Using an M12-160mm bolt (part 109451) and a 1/2" flat washer (part 100118), install the rear mounting bracket (part 552854 or 552855 depending on side) to the rear body mount. Leave the fasteners finger tight. Note: The orientation of the rear bracket differs between Mega Cab and Reg/Quad/Crew Cab pickups; refer to Figure 1 or Figure 2 accordingly.
Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket (part 552856 or 552868 depending on variant) to the rear inboard mounting bracket (part 552854 or 552855) in the upper mounting location using three 3/8-16×1.0" screws (part 100040), 3/8" flat washers (part 100062), and 3/8" flange nuts (part 100181).
Loosen the bolt that fastens the suspension links to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (part 552457 or 552411 depending on variant) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. Tighten down the bolt, ensuring that the upper mounting bracket is level.
Fasten the lower bracket (part 551721 or 552125 depending on variant) to the upper bracket (part 552457 or 552411) using 3/8" bolts, washers, and nuts (parts 100040, 100062, 100181) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket. Ensure that the lower bracket sits level to the front brackets.
After the step plate is attached per its separate instructions, position the load reaction stud assembly so that the rubber cushion is snug against the side of the frame. Tighten the 3/8" flange nuts on either side of the bracket to 19 LB FT.

O-MEGA II steps use 5/16-18×1" square head bolts (part 106880). A total of 28 are provided in the kit. These bolts are inserted into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates and secured with 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) tightened to 19 LB FT.
W2W MEGA/GRIP uses two types of load reaction studs: a 4" stud (part 104686, 3/8-16) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (part 104697, 3/8-16) for the rear brackets. The 4" stud is double-ended.
M12-110mm hex head screws (part 103444) are used to attach both the front and center mounting brackets to their respective body mounts. Each bracket uses one bolt with a 2.0" washer (part 105909).
An M12-160mm hex head screw (part 109451) is used to attach the rear mounting bracket to the rear body mount, with a 1/2" flat washer (part 100118).
Three 3/8-16×1.0" hex head screws (part 100040) with 3/8" flat washers (part 100062) and 3/8" flange nuts (part 100181) are used to attach the rear outboard bracket to the rear inboard bracket in the upper mounting location.
3/8" bolts, washers, and nuts (parts 100040, 100062, 100181) are used through the two lower holes in the upper bracket to fasten the lower bracket to the upper bracket.
The rubber cushion washers (part 102592) used in the load reaction stud assembly are 0.354" inner diameter, 1.00" outer diameter, and 0.75" thick. The stud end must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16".
After installation, verify that the O-MEGA step is centered front to rear on the vehicle, that all square head screws are properly located in the slots of the mounting brackets, and that all fasteners are tightened to specification: end cap nuts to 5 LB FT and step mounting flange nuts to 19 LB FT.
