LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 2500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes, the W2W MEGA/GRIP Step Bracket (models 571439/401439) is designed specifically for 2014+ RAM 2500 Pickups in Regular Cab, Quad Cab, Crew Cab, and Mega Cab configurations. For Regular Cab pickups, only the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used; the center mounting bracket and fasteners may be discarded.
The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Step includes: 2 aluminum extrusions (available in silver or black, in lengths 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), 6 aluminum step pads, 4 plastic end caps, 28 square head screws (5/16-18 X 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 tek screws (#8-18 X 1/2"). Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
The W2W MEGA/GRIP Step Bracket includes: mounting brackets (front, center, rear inboard and outboard, and upper/lower W2W brackets), 4 M12-110mm hex head bolts, 2 M12-160mm hex head bolts, 4 large washers (2.0"), 6 rubber cushion washers, 16 flat washers (3/8"), 28 serrated flange nuts (3/8-16), 4 studs (3/8-16 X 3.00"), 2 double-ended studs (3/8-16 X 4.00"), 10 hex head screws (3/8-16 X 1.0"), and 2 flat washers (1/2"). Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
Yes, drilling is required. Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, you must drill 5 holes of 1/8" diameter using the step pad as a guide. The step pads are then attached with 5 tek screws (#8-18 X 1/2") provided. This process must be repeated for all step pads.
The manual states that you must follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle. However, the manual does not specify which bracket package to use or provide bracket installation instructions. Contact the manufacturer or your retailer to identify the correct bracket package for your vehicle model.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on the manual to position the pads for your vehicle model. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B positions. For example, Silverado/Sierra Double Cab uses Pad A at 14-3/4" and Pad B at 46-3/4". Note that due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. These pad locations are suggestions and may be adjusted at the purchaser's discretion.
The end caps (Item #3) should be tightened to 5 LB FT.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws (Item #4) should be tightened to 19 LB FT.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (Item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 LB FT.
The first step is to assemble the load reaction studs and hardware. On the short threaded end of the load reaction stud (3" stud for rear brackets, 4" stud for front bracket), install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards to the bottom of the thread, then install a 3/8" flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight against the serrated flange nut. The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards to near the bottom of the threads.
Insert the stud from the inboard (frame side) through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that will allow the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame. Install a flange nut (Item #17) on the outboard end of the stud, finger tight only at this stage.
Yes. On the right side of the vehicle, you must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts (one side of the vehicle at a time). These factory bolts will not be reused. The mounting brackets are then installed using new M12 hex head bolts and washers as specified in the instructions.
The front mounting bracket (Item #1 or #2) is attached to the front body mount using an M12-110mm hex head bolt (Item #12) and a 2.0" washer (Item #14). These fasteners should be left finger tight initially.
The center mounting bracket (Item #3 or #4) is attached to the center body mount using an M12-110mm hex head bolt (Item #12) and a 2.0" washer (Item #14). These fasteners should be left finger tight initially.
The rear mounting bracket (Item #5 or #6) is attached to the rear body mount using an M12-160mm hex head bolt (Item #13) and a 1/2" flat washer (Item #21). These fasteners should be left finger tight initially. Note: The orientation of the rear bracket differs between Regular/Quad/Crew Cab pickups and Mega Cab pickups; refer to the appropriate figure in the manual for your cab type.
Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket (Item #7 or #8) to the rear inboard mounting bracket (Item #5 or #6) in the upper mounting location using three 3/8-16 X 1.0" screws, 3/8" flat washers, and 3/8" flange nuts (Items #20, #16, #17).
Loosen the bolt that fastens the suspension links to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (Item #9) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. Tighten down the bolt, making sure that the upper mounting bracket is level.
Fasten the lower bracket (Item #11) to the upper bracket (Item #9) using 3/8" bolt, washer, and nut (Items #20, #16, #17) in the two lower holes of the upper bracket. Make sure that it sits level to the front brackets.
Position the load reaction stud assembly so that the rubber cushion is snug against the side of the frame. Tighten the 3/8" flange nuts on either side of the bracket to 19 LB FT.
The 3/8" serrated flange nuts on either side of the load reaction stud bracket should be tightened to 19 LB FT.
Five 1/8" diameter holes must be drilled using the step pad as a guide. The step pads are then attached with 5 tek screws (#8-18 X 1/2").
The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16".
The O-MEGA II is a universal step with vehicle-specific pad positioning for Silverado/Sierra, RAM, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Chevrolet Express, and GMC Savana. Consult the Step Pad Location Guide in the manual for your exact model and cab type.
