LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II package includes two extrusions (available in silver or black aluminum in five different lengths: 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), six step pads, four end caps, 28 square head screws (5/16-18 X 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 TEK screws (#8-18 X 1/2") for pad attachment.
No. The W2W MEGA STEP BRACKETS model 571338 are specifically designed for 2013-2015 RAM 3500 Pickups. The manual notes that 2009-2012 RAM trucks do not have obround holes in the pinchweld and will require drilling 5/16" holes for each bracket.
The manual provides specific pad location recommendations for multiple vehicles. For example: Silverado/Sierra Double Cab uses Pad A at 14-3/4" and Pad B at 46-3/4"; Ford F150 Super Crew Cab uses Pad A at 18-1/4" and Pad B at 56-1/2"; RAM Crew Cab uses Pad A at 10-1/2" and Pad B at 48". However, the manual notes that these are only suggestions and pads may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
Read the instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed on the Service Parts List are on hand before starting. You will also need to follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package for your vehicle, as the O-MEGA II steps themselves are a universal application that requires vehicle-specific brackets.
Yes. When installing the step pads on the steps, you must drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide, then attach the pads with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws provided.
Yes. 2009-2012 RAM trucks do not have obround holes in the pinchweld and will require drilling two 5/16" holes for each bracket. To locate the holes, follow the positioning steps with the bracket in place, then mark the pinchweld for drilling.
The end caps (Item #3) should be tightened to 5 lb ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws (Item #4) should be tightened to 19 lb ft.
Before attaching the O-MEGA II steps to the brackets, place the step pads on top of the step plates. Use the Step Pad Location Guide on Sheet #2 to position the pads for your particular vehicle. Note: due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (Item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Then install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
1. Place the driver's side front bracket (Item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 2. Align the two rectangular holes of the lower mounting flange with the two obround holes in the pinchweld. 3. Insert two 1/4-20 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld, add a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9), leave finger tight. 4. Insert an M8 X 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11) through the slots on the upper mounting flange, leave finger tight. 5. Repeat for middle (Item #2) and rear (Item #3) brackets. 6. For the passenger side, use Item #2 for front, Item #1 for middle, and Item #4 for rear.
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (Item #13) into the large obround hole with the nut end first, leaving the threaded stud sticking out. Attach the plastic bolt retainer (Item #14) to the threaded stud to prevent it from falling into the rocker panel. 2. Place the driver's side front bracket (Item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 3. Align and insert two 1/4-20 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld, add a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9), leave finger tight. 4. Place a flat washer (Item #10) and M8 flange nut (Item #12) on the threaded stud of the T-bolt, leave finger tight. 5. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. 6. Insert an M8 X 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11), leave finger tight. 7. Repeat for middle and rear brackets. 8. For passenger side, use Item #2 for front, Item #1 for middle, and Item #4 for rear.
1. Loosen the bolt that fastens the leaf spring to the vehicle. 2. Slide the upper mounting bracket (Item #6) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. 3. Place a 3/8" bolt and washer (Items #15, #17) through the hole in the upper mounting bracket and frame bracket, then fasten with a 3/8" serrated flange nut (Item #16). 4. Tighten the leaf spring bolt, making sure the upper mounting bracket is level. 5. Fasten the lower bracket (Item #5) to the upper bracket (Item #6) using a 3/8" bolt, washer, and flange nut (Items #15, #16, #17) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket, making sure it sits level to the front brackets.
No. The manual instructs to leave all fasteners finger tight during the bracket attachment process. Install the step plates and adjust brackets and boards before tightening all the fasteners.
Five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (Item #6) are used to attach each step pad. These are stainless steel, bronze plated screws provided in the package. The screws are inserted through five 1/8" holes drilled using the step pad as a guide.
For the pinchweld attachment, use two 1/4-20 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #7), two 1/4" flat washers (Item #8), and two 1/4-20 flange nuts (Item #9) per bracket. For the upper mounting flange, use one M8 X 25mm screw (Item #10) with one 5/16" flat washer (Item #11) per bracket.
For the shackle mount attachment, use one 3/8" bolt (Item #15), one 3/8" flat washer (Item #17), and one 3/8" serrated flange nut (Item #16) to attach the upper mounting bracket to the leaf spring shackle. Use the same fasteners (one 3/8" bolt, washer, and flange nut) for each of the two lower holes connecting the lower bracket to the upper bracket.
