LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 to position the pads for your vehicle. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations. Note that due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. The pad locations are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
Yes. When installing the pads on the steps, you must drill 5 holes of 1/8" diameter using the step pad as a guide. The pads are then attached with 5 TEK screws (#8-18 x 1/2") provided in the kit.
Yes. 2009 to 2012 RAM trucks do not have obround holes in the pinch weld and will require drilling 2 holes of 5/16" diameter for each bracket. To locate the holes, follow step 2.5 (position the bracket), then mark the pinch weld for drilling before drilling the holes.
The end caps (Item #3) should be tightened to 5 lb ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws (Item #4) should be tightened to 19 lb ft.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (Item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
1. Place the driver's side front bracket (Item #1) against the pinch weld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. Align the two rectangular holes with the obround holes in the pinch weld. 2. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) through the lower mounting flange and pinch weld. Add a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9), leaving finger tight. 3. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11) through the slots on the upper mounting flange, leaving finger tight. 4. Repeat for the middle (Item #2) and rear (Item #3) brackets. 5. For the passenger side, use Item #2 for the front bracket, Item #1 for the middle bracket, and Item #4 for the rear bracket.
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (Item #13) into the large obround hole in the rocker panel's vertical wall, inserting the nut end first. Attach the plastic bolt retainer (Item #14) to the threaded stud to prevent it from falling into the rocker panel. 2. Place the driver's side front bracket (Item #1) against the pinch weld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) through the lower mounting flange and pinch weld. Add a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9), leaving finger tight. 3. Place a flat washer (Item #10) and M8 flange nut (Item #12) on the T-bolt's threaded stud, leaving finger tight. 4. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11), leaving finger tight. 5. Repeat for the middle (Item #2) and rear (Item #3) brackets. 6. For the passenger side, use Item #2 for the front bracket, Item #1 for the middle bracket, and Item #4 for the rear bracket.
1. Loosen the bolt that fastens the leaf spring to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (Item #6) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. 2. Place a 3/8" bolt and washer (Items #15, #17) through the hole in the upper mounting bracket and frame bracket, then fasten with a 3/8" serrated flange nut (Item #16). Tighten the leaf spring bolt, ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level. 3. Fasten the lower bracket (Item #5) to the upper bracket (Item #6) using a 3/8" bolt, washer, and flange nut (Items #15, #16, #17) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket, ensuring it sits level to the front brackets.
Install the step plates and adjust the brackets and boards before tightening all the fasteners. This allows you to ensure proper alignment and level positioning before final tightening.
For the passenger side, the installation is a mirror image of the driver's side. Use Item #2 (front bracket) for the front position, Item #1 (middle bracket) for the middle position, and Item #4 (rear bracket) for the rear position.
Be careful not to drop the T-bolt inside the rocker panel when installing the T-bolt weldment (Item #13) into the large obround hole. Attach the flat plastic bolt retainer (Item #14) to the threaded stud of the T-bolt to keep it from falling into the rocker panel.
Ensure that the upper mounting bracket (Item #6) is level when tightening the leaf spring bolt. Also ensure that the lower bracket (Item #5) sits level to the front brackets when fastening it to the upper bracket.
