LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty and F450 Super Duty (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II kit includes two extrusion assemblies (available in silver or black aluminum in various lengths: 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), six step pads, four end caps, 28 square head screws (5/16-18 x 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 Phillips pan head tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your vehicle model.
The O-MEGA II steps are designed for universal application and require a specific bracket package matched to your vehicle. The manual does not list which vehicle models are compatible with which O-MEGA II part numbers (583098, 583102, 583108, 583114, 583125, 584098, 584102, 584114, 584125). You must follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to determine fitment. Contact the manufacturer or your retailer with your vehicle year, make, model, and cab style to confirm compatibility.
Yes, the W2W MEGA STEP/SES Brackets (model 571729) are designed for 2017 and newer Ford Super Duty Pickups using a rocker panel mount, no-drill application. The brackets mount to factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. If you have a Regular Cab or Super Cab, two of the four brackets will be unused.
Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed on the Service Parts List are on hand before starting. You will also need to follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package designed for your vehicle, as the O-MEGA II steps require brackets to be mounted first.
Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed on the Service Parts List are on hand. Note that if you have a Regular Cab or Super Cab, two of the four brackets will be unused. Ensure your vehicle has factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel, as the installation uses these studs to mount the brackets.
Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, use the Step Pad Location Guide on Sheet 2 to determine the correct position for your vehicle model and cab style. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations. Note that for some vehicles (Chevrolet Express Van, GMC Savana Van, and Ford models), only Pad A is used (Pad B shows N/A). The pad locations are suggestions and may be adjusted at your discretion.
For a Silverado Crew Cab, position Pad A at 14-3/4" from one end and Pad B at 54-1/4" from the same end. These are suggested locations and may be adjusted at your discretion.
For a Ford F150 Super Crew Cab, position Pad A at 18-1/4" from one end and Pad B at 56-1/2" from the same end. These are suggested locations and may be adjusted at your discretion.
For a Ram Crew Cab, position Pad A at 10-1/2" from one end and Pad B at 48" from the same end. These are suggested locations and may be adjusted at your discretion.
Yes, drilling is required. When installing the step pads on the steps, you must drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. The pads are then attached with five #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws provided in the kit. This process is repeated for all step pads.
No, the W2W MEGA STEP/SES Brackets installation is a no-drill application. The brackets mount directly to factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel using isolator washers and flange nuts.
Tighten the nuts on the end caps to 5 lb-ft.
Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
Tighten the rear inboard bracket to 80 lb-ft. This bracket is installed behind the spring shackle nut and bolt.
On the left side, install two 1.5" isolator washers, the step mounting bracket, and two M8-1.25 flange nuts on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. Check that all brackets are level and tighten all flange nuts. Repeat for the remaining brackets on both sides of the vehicle.
Loosen the nut and bolt on the spring shackle just enough to slip the rear inboard bracket behind the nut. On the passenger side, loosen the nut and slide the bolt outward to install the bracket. Do not remove the bolt completely as this could result in injury. Adjust the bracket so it is vertical and tighten to 80 lb-ft.
Using two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts, two 5/16" flat washers, and two 5/16-18 flange nuts, install the outboard bracket as shown in Figure 2. Leave this bracket loose at this time. After attaching the step board to the mounting brackets, adjust the rear outboard bracket for your step assembly and tighten the bolts securing the outboard bracket to the inboard bracket.
1. Install the rocker panel mounting brackets on the left side using isolator washers and flange nuts on factory studs. 2. Install the rear inboard bracket behind the spring shackle. 3. Install the rear outboard bracket (leave loose). 4. Attach the step board to the mounting brackets. 5. Adjust the rear outboard bracket and tighten. 6. Repeat steps 1–5 for the right side of the vehicle.
The kit includes 28 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 Phillips pan head tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). Additional fasteners may be required depending on your specific bracket package.
The kit includes 12 nylon isolator washers (1.5" x 0.36" x 0.032"), 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts, four 5/16-18 flange nuts, four 5/16-18 x 1" bolts, and four 5/16" flat washers.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
Due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, and then mount the middle step pad accordingly.
