LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty and F450 Super Duty (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Steps are described as a universal application product. However, the manual does not specify which vehicle makes and models are compatible. You must follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package for your vehicle, as the bracket package determines fitment. Consult the bracket package documentation or contact the manufacturer to confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle.
Yes, the W2W Mega Steps Bracket (model 570829) is designed for 2008 and newer Ford Super Duty Super Cab and Crew Cab pickups only. It will not fit other Ford models or earlier Super Duty generations.
No. The W2W Mega Steps Bracket (model 570829) is designed only for 2008 and newer Ford Super Duty Super Cab and Crew Cab pickups. It is not compatible with Regular Cab models.
The O-MEGA II kit includes: 2 extrusions (length varies by model), 6 step pads, 4 end caps, 28 square head screws (5/16-18 x 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your model number (583098, 583102, 583108, 583114, 583125, 584098, 584102, 584114, or 584125). Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
The W2W Mega Steps Bracket kit includes: 2 front mounting brackets, 6 standard mounting brackets, 10 square head screws (5/16-18), 32 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), 8 U-nuts (5/16-18), 12 zinc-plated hex head cap screws (5/16-18 x 1.00"), 12 zinc-plated flat washers (5/16), 8 black-plated hex head cap screws (5/16-18 x 1.00"), 8 black-plated flat washers (5/16), 2 upper rear mounting brackets, 2 lower rear mounting brackets, 2 hex head cap screws (7/16-14 x 1-1/2"), 2 serrated flange nuts (7/16-14), and 2 flat washers (7/16). The mega step board assembly is sold separately.
Yes. You must drill five 1/8" holes through the step plates using the step pad as a guide before attaching the step pads. These holes are used to secure the step pads with #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws. The manual does not specify whether additional drilling is required for mounting the steps to the brackets, as this depends on the specific bracket package for your vehicle.
No drilling is required. The W2W Mega Steps Bracket uses existing mounting hole patterns located on the pinch weld and interior wall of the rocker panel. U-nuts are installed in the existing round holes, and fasteners are attached through the existing hole patterns.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 of the manual. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B positions for different vehicle models (Silverado/Sierra, Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, RAM, and Ford F150/Super Duty). Pad A is positioned near the front, and Pad B is positioned toward the rear. Note: these are suggestions only and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion. For vehicles with short boxes, mount the box step pad first approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly.
1. Read instructions and verify all parts are present. 2. Follow instructions for your specific bracket package to mount brackets to the vehicle. 3. Position and attach step pads to the step plates using five 1/8" holes and #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws per the Step Pad Location Guide. 4. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 5. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb ft. 6. Position the step on the mounting brackets with square head screws in the bracket slots, centered front to rear, and tighten 5/16" serrated flange nuts to 19 lb ft.
Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts in the existing round holes on the pinch weld and interior wall of the rocker panel. Starting at the front, install U-nuts in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third mounting patterns, and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. Insert the threaded half of the U-nut through the large access holes and slide it toward the round hole until it seats. The threads must face to the inside of the rocker panel.
Position the front mounting bracket (item #2, which has a 3/16" offset at the top) and standard mounting brackets (item #3) so the top hole lines up with the installed U-nut and the bottom hole lines up with the hole in the pinch weld. Attach the top with a 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated hex head cap screw and 5/16" zinc-plated flat washer. Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" x 1.00" black-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" black-plated flat washer, and 5/16" serrated flange nut. Level the brackets and tighten all fasteners to 19 lb ft.
Insert five 5/16" square head screws in the center slot on the underside of the step. Position the step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are located in the slots of the brackets and the rear of the step is approximately even with the front metallic flange of the rear wheel well. Locate the step in and out as desired, then install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
Attach the upper rear mounting bracket (item #11) against the top of the vehicle spring hanger so the flat surfaces meet. Install a 7/16-14 x 1-1/2" hex head cap screw down through the top of the lower bracket (item #12) and the upper bracket, then attach a 7/16-14 serrated flange nut and washer. Install the lower mounting bracket so the vertical surfaces meet, using 5/16-18 x 1.00" hex head cap screw, washer, and serrated flange nut. Install the mega step on top of the lower bracket, align with the front step, and tighten with 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts. Tighten all 5/16" fasteners to 19 lb ft and all 7/16" fasteners to 40 lb ft.
Tighten the end cap nuts to 5 lb ft.
Tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts to 19 lb ft.
Tighten all 5/16" fasteners (hex head cap screws and serrated flange nuts) to 19 lb ft. Tighten all 7/16" fasteners (hex head cap screws and serrated flange nuts) to 40 lb ft.
The square head screws are 5/16-18 UNC x 1" (part number 106880). There are 28 screws included in the kit.
The tek screws are #8-18 x 1/2" stainless steel, bright zinc-plated (part number 107958). Five screws are used per step pad, and 30 screws are included in the kit.
Drill five 1/8" holes through the step plates using the step pad as a guide. These holes are used to attach the step pads with #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws.
The step must be centered front to rear on the vehicle. Position the step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear before tightening the 5/16" serrated flange nuts to 19 lb ft.
The rear of the step should be approximately even with the front metallic flange of the rear wheel well. This positioning is specified to ensure proper clearance and alignment with the vehicle structure.
Yes, if you have a 2008 or newer Ford Super Duty Super Cab or Crew Cab pickup. It does not fit Regular Cab models or earlier generations.
