LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty and F350 Super Duty (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The manual does not specify required tools. However, based on the installation process, you will need a drill with a 1/8" bit (to drill holes for step pad attachment), a wrench or socket set to tighten fasteners to the specified torque values (5 lb-ft for end caps, 19 lb-ft for step attachment), and a torque wrench to ensure proper tightening.
The manual does not specify required tools. However, based on the installation process, you will need a socket set and wrench to install U-nuts and fasteners, a torque wrench to tighten fasteners to 19 lb-ft (5/16" fasteners) and 40 lb-ft (7/16" fasteners), and a level to ensure brackets are properly aligned before final tightening.
Before starting installation, read all instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. Check that you have the correct bracket package for your specific vehicle, as the bracket package instructions must be followed separately to mount the brackets.
Before starting installation, read all instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. Confirm that your vehicle is a 2008 or newer Ford Super Duty Super Cab or Crew Cab pickup. Verify that the existing mounting hole patterns on the pinch weld and interior wall of the rocker panel are present and accessible, as these must be used for this installation.
Yes. You must drill five (5) 1/8" holes through the step plates using the step pad as a guide. These holes are used to attach the step pads (item #2) to the step plates with #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws (item #6).
No drilling is required. The W2W Mega Steps system uses existing mounting hole patterns located on the pinch weld and interior wall of the rocker panel of the Ford Super Duty. Multi-thread U-nuts are installed in these existing holes.
1. Attach step pads (item #2) to the step plates by drilling five 1/8" holes and securing with five #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws (item #6). Use the Step Pad Location Guide to position pads correctly for your vehicle. 2. Install the required number of square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps (item #3) and tighten nuts to 5 lb-ft. 4. Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so square head screws (item #4) are located in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. 5. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 of the manual. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A (front pad) and Pad B (rear pad) for each vehicle model. Measurements are given in inches from a reference point. The manual notes that these locations are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
1. Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (item #6) in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third rocker panel patterns, and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern, with threads facing inside the rocker panel. 2. Attach the front mounting bracket (item #2) and standard mounting brackets (item #3) to the vehicle using the existing hole patterns. 3. Attach the step (item #1) to the cab mounting brackets using five 5/16" square head screws (item #4) and serrated flange nuts (item #5), tightened to 19 lb-ft. 4. Attach the rear mounting bracket (item #11) against the top of the vehicle spring hanger. 5. Install the bottom mounting bracket (item #12) and tighten all 5/16" fasteners to 19 lb-ft and 7/16" fasteners to 40 lb-ft.
Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (item #6) in the existing rocker panel holes. Starting at the front, install U-nuts in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third patterns and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. Insert the threaded half of the U-nut through the large access holes and slide the U-nut toward the round hole until it seats. The threads must face inside the rocker panel.
Position the step on the mounting brackets so that the five 5/16" square head screws (item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets. The rear of the step should be positioned approximately even with the front metallic flange of the rear wheel well. You can locate the step in and out as desired before final tightening.
The front mounting bracket (item #2) has a 3/16" offset at the top of the bracket. The manual notes this feature but does not explain its specific purpose. This offset is likely designed to ensure proper alignment with the rocker panel geometry of the Ford Super Duty.
End caps (item #3) must be tightened to 5 lb-ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws (item #4) must be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
All 5/16" fasteners (serrated flange nuts on square head screws and hex head cap screws) must be tightened to 19 lb-ft. All 7/16" fasteners (hex head cap screws and serrated flange nuts) must be tightened to 40 lb-ft.
O-MEGA II steps use the following fasteners: 5/16-18 square head screws (item #4), 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (item #5), #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws (item #6) for step pad attachment, and 5/16-18 x 1" square head bolts installed in the step plate slots.
W2W Mega Steps use the following fasteners: 5/16-18 square head screws (item #4), 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (item #5), 5/16-18 x 1.00" zinc-plated hex head cap screws (item #7), 5/16" zinc-plated flat washers (item #8), 5/16-18 x 1.00" black-plated hex head cap screws (item #9), 5/16" black-plated flat washers (item #10), 5/16-18 multi-thread U-nuts (item #6), 7/16-14 x 1-1/2" hex head cap screws (item #13), 7/16-14 serrated flange nuts (item #14), and 7/16" flat washers (item #15).
Five 1/8" holes must be drilled through the step plates using the step pad as a guide. These holes are used to attach the step pads with #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws.
The manual does not include specific safety warnings for O-MEGA II installation. However, standard safety practices should be followed when drilling, handling fasteners, and working under or around vehicles.
