LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty and F350 Super Duty (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes. The manual states you must follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package for your vehicle. The O-MEGA II is a universal step system, but each vehicle requires its own bracket package for proper mounting. Ensure you have the correct bracket package before beginning installation.
Before starting installation, read all instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed on the Service Parts List are on hand. This includes the step extrusions, step pads, end caps, screws, and nuts. Do not begin installation if any parts are missing.
Before starting installation, read all instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed on the Service Parts List are on hand. Confirm that your vehicle is a 2008 or newer Ford Super Duty Super Cab or Crew Cab. Locate the existing mounting hole patterns on the pinch weld and interior wall of the rocker panel, as these must be used for this installation.
Yes. When installing the step pads on the steps, you must drill five (5) 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. The pads are then attached with five (5) 8-18 x 1/2" tek screws. Drilling is required for each step pad.
Mount the box step pad approximately 1/2" from the end cap. After positioning the box step pad, mount the middle step pad accordingly. This positioning accounts for the shortness of some boxes.
Tighten the end cap nuts to 5 lb ft.
Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
Tighten the 5/16" fasteners (hex head cap screws and serrated flange nuts) on the cab mounting brackets to 19 lb ft. Level the brackets before final tightening.
Tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws to 19 lb ft.
Tighten 5/16" fasteners to 19 lb ft and 7/16" fasteners to 40 lb ft. The 7/16-14 x 1-1/2" hex head cap screws with serrated flange nuts and washers attach the rear mounting bracket to the spring hanger and should be tightened to 40 lb ft.
1. Use the Step Pad Location Guide on Sheet #2 to determine the correct position for your vehicle. 2. Place the step pad on top of the step plate at the determined location. 3. Drill five (5) 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. 4. Attach the pad with five (5) 8-18 x 1/2" tek screws. 5. Repeat for all step pads. Note: Mount the box step pad approximately 1/2" from the end cap first, then position the middle step pad accordingly.
Install the end caps (Item #3) as shown in Figure 1, tightening the nuts to 5 lb ft.
1. Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets. 2. Center the step front to rear on the vehicle. 3. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws. 4. Tighten to 19 lb ft.
1. Starting at the front, install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third mounting hole patterns, and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. 2. Insert the threaded half of the U-nut through the large access holes in the rocker panel. 3. Slide the U-nut toward the round hole until it seats. 4. Ensure the threads are positioned to the inside of the rocker panel.
1. Position the bracket so the top hole lines up with the multi-thread U-nut and the bottom hole lines up with the hole in the pinch weld. 2. Attach the top with a 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated hex head cap screw and 5/16" zinc-plated flat washer. 3. Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" x 1.00" black-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" black-plated flat washer, and 5/16" serrated flange nut. 4. Locate the step in and out as desired. 4. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
1. Attach the rear mounting bracket (Item #11) against the top of the vehicle spring hanger so that the flat surfaces meet. 2.
