Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Dodge Durango (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

However, the manual provides a step pad location guide for specific vehicles including Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, Ram, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, and Toyota Tundra and Tacoma models. For vehicles not listed, consult the bracket package instructions or contact the manufacturer to confirm compatibility.
Yes. The manual provides specific bracket instructions for the 571134 bracket package designed for 2011 Dodge Durango and 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. For the Durango, use O-Mega Step Boards 78" (part 585078 in satin or 586078 in black). For the Jeep Grand Cherokee, use O-Mega Step Boards 72" (part 585072). Follow the 571134 bracket installation instructions on page 3 of the manual.
The manual requires a drill with a 1/8" drill bit to drill five holes in each step pad. A wrench or socket set is needed to tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts to 19 lb-ft and the end cap nuts to 5 lb-ft. The manual does not specify other tools required for bracket installation; refer to the specific bracket package instructions.

The bracket installation must be completed before attaching the steps.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide table on page 2 to determine the correct position for Pad A and Pad B for your specific vehicle model. The guide provides measurements for Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, Ram, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, and Toyota models. The note states that these are suggestions and pads may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
Yes. Before attaching the step pads (item #2) to the step plates, you must drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. The pads are then attached with five 8-18 x 1/2" TEK screws (item #6). This drilling must be done for each step pad.
Position the step pad on the step plate using the location guide for your vehicle. Using the step pad as a guide, drill five 1/8" holes through the step plate. Attach the pad with five 8-18 x 1/2" TEK screws (item #6). Repeat this process for all step pads.
Install the end caps (item #3) as shown in figure 1, and tighten the nuts to 5 lb-ft. The manual does not provide additional detail on end cap installation; refer to figure 1 in the manual for visual guidance.
Position the O-Mega step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
Tighten the end cap nuts to 5 lb-ft.
Tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws (item #4) to 19 lb-ft.

For other vehicles, you must obtain the appropriate bracket package for your specific vehicle model. Follow the instructions included with your bracket package to mount the brackets before attaching the O-Mega steps.
1. Locate and remove the second, fourth, and sixth obround body plugs from under and behind the plastic ground effects. 2. Install the T-bolt (item #3) up into the obround hole. 3. Place the bracket (item #2) over the T-bolt threads and place the nut (item #7) on finger tight. 4. Put two carriage bolts (item #5) in the obround holes in the bracket and pinch weld area, then install nuts (item #6). 5. Tighten all fasteners. 6. Repeat for each bracket on both driver and passenger sides.
1. Insert three 5/16" square head screws (item #8) on the underside of each step in the center slot of the O-Mega boards. The board will already have five 5/16" square head screws in the inside slot; slide the two unused ones to the end and place a nut (item #4) on them. 2. Locate the step in and out as desired. 3.
