Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford F150, F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.

The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The Model 571521 bracket is designed specifically for 2015 and newer Ford F150 Regular Cab and Extended Cab pickups with rocker panel mount application. It is a no-drill application that uses factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. If you have a different Ford F150 generation, cab style, or vehicle brand, you will need a different bracket package.
The O-MEGA II steps are listed as a universal application, but they must be paired with a specific bracket package designed for your vehicle. The step pad positioning varies significantly by vehicle model—for example, Silverado Double Cab pads are positioned at 14-3/4" and 46-3/4", while Ford F150 Super Crew Cab pads are at 18-1/4" and 56-1/2". You must follow the bracket installation instructions for your specific vehicle and use the Step Pad Location Guide to position the pads correctly.
Each O-MEGA II step kit includes: 2 aluminum extrusions (available in 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths, in silver or black), 4 aluminum step pads, 4 plastic end caps, 24 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1"), 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 20 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your vehicle model. Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
The Model 571521 bracket kit includes: 4 mounting brackets (part 552643), 8 nylon isolator washers 1.5" diameter (part 108442), and 8 M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859). The step board assembly itself is ordered separately and comes with its own installation instructions. Verify all bracket parts are present before starting installation.
Yes. The O-MEGA II steps must be mounted using a specific bracket package designed for your vehicle. The step is secured using 24 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1", part 106880) and 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18, part 102680). The square head bolts are inserted into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates and then positioned in the slots of the mounting brackets. The serrated flange nuts are installed on the bolts and tightened to 19 lb-ft.
Step pads are attached using 5 tek screws per pad (8-18 x 1/2", part 107958, stainless steel with zinc plating). The screws are installed through 1/8" diameter holes drilled through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. A total of 20 tek screws are provided in the kit.
The Model 571521 bracket uses factory-provided studs on the rocker panel. Each bracket is secured with 2 nylon isolator washers (1.5" diameter, part 108442) and 2 M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859). If installing stainless steel side entry steps, leave the flange nuts finger tight only to assist alignment. 2. Repeat for the remaining brackets. 3. Check that all brackets are level. 4. Tighten all flange nuts. 5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the right side of the vehicle. After bracket installation, refer to the separate instruction sheet included with your step board assembly to mount the step to the brackets.
Position the O-MEGA II step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (Item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
1. Attach step pads to the step plates using 1/8" drilled holes and tek screws, positioned according to the Step Pad Location Guide for your vehicle. 2. Install the required number of square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb-ft. 4. Position the step on the mounting brackets with square head screws in the bracket slots and the step centered front to rear. 5. Install serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
If installing stainless steel side entry steps, leave the flange nuts finger tight only during the initial installation to assist with alignment of the step plate. Once all brackets are level and properly aligned, tighten all flange nuts fully.
