LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Model 571529 W2W MEGA STEP/SES brackets are designed for 2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups with rocker panel mount application. This is a no-drill installation. Note that if installing on a regular cab or super cab pickup, there will be two unused brackets.
The O-MEGA II is a universal application step, but fitment depends on the vehicle-specific bracket package you purchase. The manual includes a step pad location guide for Silverado/Sierra, Colorado/Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, RAM, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Tacoma models. Consult the bracket package instructions for your specific vehicle.
Each O-MEGA II step kit includes: two extrusion-aluminum step plates (silver or black, in 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths), four aluminum step pads, four plastic end caps, 24 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1"), 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 20 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your model number.
The W2W MEGA STEP/SES bracket kit includes: six mounting brackets, 12 nylon isolator washers (0.36" x 1.5" x 0.032"), 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts, five 5/16-18 flange nuts, five 5/16-18 x 1" bolts, five 5/16" flat washers, one left rear inboard bracket, one right rear inboard bracket, two rear outboard brackets, and one left rear clamp bracket.
The manual requires a drill with a 1/8" bit for drilling five holes per step pad. A wrench or socket set is needed to tighten fasteners to the specified torque values (5 lb-ft for end cap nuts, 19 lb-ft for serrated flange nuts on square head screws). The specific bracket package instructions will detail any additional tools needed for bracket installation.
Installation requires a wrench or socket set to tighten fasteners to specified torque values (80 lb-ft for the rear inboard bracket spring shackle bolt). A level is needed to check that all brackets are level before final tightening. A cable guide bracket removal tool or appropriate wrench is needed to remove the cable guide bracket from the left side leaf spring shackle.
The manual does not mention battery disconnection for O-MEGA II step installation. This is a mechanical installation involving drilling, fastening brackets, and attaching step pads and end caps, with no electrical components.
