LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Steps (models 583072, 583078, 583088, 584072, 584078, 584088) are universal-application running boards available in silver or black aluminum. They are designed to fit a wide range of vehicles including Chevrolet Silverado/Sierra, GMC Sierra, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Ram trucks, Dodge Dakota and Durango, Toyota Tundra and Tacoma, and others. Fitment requires a vehicle-specific bracket package (sold separately) with its own installation instructions. The manual provides step pad location guidance for 20 specific vehicle models and cab styles to ensure proper positioning.
The W2W Mega Step with SES brackets (model 571529) is a rocker panel-mounted step system designed specifically for 2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups. It is a no-drill application that mounts to factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. The system includes mounting brackets, isolator washers, bolts, and hardware. Note that if installing on a regular cab or super cab F150, two brackets will remain unused.
Yes. The O-MEGA II requires drilling five 1/8" holes through the step plate for each step pad attachment. These holes are drilled using the step pad as a guide, and the pad is then secured with five 8-18×1/2" tek screws. The step pads must be positioned according to the vehicle-specific measurements provided in the Step Pad Location Guide before drilling.
Yes. The W2W Mega Step with SES brackets (model 571529) is a no-drill application. It mounts directly to factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel using isolator washers and flange nuts. No drilling into the vehicle body is required.
The Step Pad Location Guide on page 2 provides recommended pad positions (Pad A and Pad B) for 20 specific vehicle models and cab styles, measured in inches. Before attaching the step pads to the O-MEGA II step plates, use this table to position the pads for your particular vehicle. However, the manual notes that these are suggestions only and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion. The guide covers Silverado/Sierra, Colorado/Canyon, Avalanche, Tahoe, Yukon, Ram, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, and Toyota Tundra and Tacoma models.
The O-MEGA II includes: two step extrusions (available in 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths, in silver or black aluminum); four aluminum step pads; four plastic end caps; 24 square head bolts (5/16-18×1"); 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18); and 20 tek screws (8-18×1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your vehicle model. All fasteners and hardware are included; however, a vehicle-specific bracket package (sold separately) is required for mounting.
The W2W Mega Step system includes: six mounting brackets (part 552643); 12 nylon isolator washers (0.36" × 1.5" × 0.032"); 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts; five 5/16-18 flange nuts; five 5/16-18×1" bolts; five 5/16" flat washers; one left rear inboard bracket; one right rear inboard bracket; two rear outboard brackets; and one left rear clamp bracket. The step board assembly itself is listed separately and requires its own instruction sheet.
The manual does not specify which tools are required for O-MEGA II installation. You will need a drill to create five 1/8" holes for the step pad attachment, and tools to tighten bolts and nuts (likely a wrench or socket set for 5/16" fasteners). The manual also references a separate bracket package with its own instructions, which may require additional tools. Consult the bracket package instructions for complete tool requirements.
The manual does not specify which tools are required. Based on the fasteners used, you will likely need wrenches or sockets for M8 and 5/16" nuts and bolts, and a torque wrench to tighten the spring shackle bolt to 80 lb-ft. Consult the step board assembly instruction sheet for any additional tool requirements.
Before starting installation, read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. You will need the O-MEGA II step extrusions, step pads, end caps, bolts, nuts, and tek screws. You will also need the vehicle-specific bracket package (sold separately) with its own installation instructions.
