Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford F150 (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.

Yes. Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, you must use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 to position the pads for your particular vehicle. The guide provides specific measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations for each vehicle model. The note states these are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion, but the guide should be consulted first.
1. Install step pads on the step plates: position pads using the vehicle-specific guide, drill five 1/8" holes using the pad as a guide, and attach with five tek screws (8-18 x 1/2"). 2. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps as shown in figure 1, tightening nuts to 5 lb ft. 4. Position the step on the mounting brackets so square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. 5. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.

For SuperCrew models, after attaching the middle mounting bracket, you must attach an angle bracket (item 10) to the mounting bracket using a 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated hex head cap screw, zinc-plated flat washer, and serrated flange nut. The angle bracket is positioned with the angle towards the multi-thread U-nut in the hole offset from the pinch weld hole. Then follow the same procedure as the Super Cab for attaching the step board assembly.
Insert three 5/16" square head screws in the center slot on the underside of the step. Position the step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the cab. You can then locate the step in and out as desired. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
