LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Step is a universal step assembly available in nine models: 583098, 583102, 583108, 583114, 583125, 584098, 584102, 584114, and 584125. The steps are made of aluminum extrusions in silver or black finishes, with varying lengths (95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", and 122.0"). Each step assembly includes two extrusion pieces, step pads, end caps, mounting hardware, and fasteners.
Model 571529 is designed specifically for 2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups with rocker panel mounting. It is a no-drill application that uses factory-provided studs on the rocker panel. The bracket package includes components for Crew Cab, Super Cab, and Regular Cab configurations, though Regular Cab and Super Cab installations will have two unused brackets.
Step pad positioning varies by vehicle model and cab style. For Silverado/Sierra: Double Cab (Pad A: 14-3/4", Pad B: 46-3/4"), Extended Cab (14-3/4", 41-3/4"), Crew Cab (14-3/4", 54-1/4"). For Ram: Quad Cab (10-1/2", 46), Crew Cab (10-1/2", 48), Mega Cab (10-1/2", 52-1/16). For Ford F150: Super Cab (18-1/4", 46-1/4"), Super Crew Cab (18-1/4", 56-1/2"). For Ford Super Duty: Super Cab (6-7/8", 39-1/16), Crew Cab (6-7/8", 52-7/8). For vans (Express/Savana): Pad A only at 7-1/2". Note: these are suggestions and may be adjusted at your discretion.
Each O-MEGA II assembly includes: two aluminum extrusions (length varies by model), six step pads, four end caps, 28 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 TEK screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). The specific extrusion length depends on your model number. You will also need to obtain the appropriate bracket package separately, which includes mounting brackets specific to your vehicle.
Model 571529 includes: six mounting brackets (part 552643), twelve 1.5" nylon isolator washers (part 108442), twelve M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859), five 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996), five 5/16-18 x 1.00" bolts (part 106997), five 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), one left rear inboard bracket (part 552752), one right rear inboard bracket (part 552753), two rear outboard brackets (part 551721), and one left rear clamp bracket (part 552754). The step board assembly itself is ordered separately.
Yes. The O-MEGA II step assembly requires a specific bracket package that is ordered separately. The bracket package instructions must be followed to mount the brackets to your vehicle before attaching the O-MEGA steps. The bracket package model and fitment details are not included in this manual; you must refer to the instructions provided with your specific bracket package.
No. Model 571529 is a no-drill application. It mounts directly to factory-provided studs on the rocker panel using isolator washers and flange nuts. No drilling of the vehicle body is required.
Position the step pads on top of the step plates using the vehicle-specific positioning guide on Sheet 2. Using the step pad as a guide, drill five 1/8" holes through the step plate. Attach each pad with five #8-18 x 1/2" TEK screws (part 107958). For shorter boxes, mount the box step pad first approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. Repeat this process for all step pads.
Tighten the nuts on the end caps (part 107956) to 5 lb-ft.
Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) on the square head screws (part 106880) and tighten to 19 lb-ft. The step should be centered front to rear on the vehicle, with the square head screws located in the slots of the mounting brackets.
On the left side, install two 1.5" nylon isolator washers (part 108442), the step mounting bracket (part 552643), and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859) on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. Repeat for the remaining brackets on both sides. Check that all brackets are level and tighten all flange nuts. Then proceed with rear bracket installation as described in the manual.
The rear inboard bracket (part 552752 for left side, part 552753 for right side) must be installed on the spring shackle bolt and tightened to 80 lb-ft. The bracket must be vertical when installed.
No. The rear outboard bracket (part 551721) should be left loose during initial installation. It is tightened only after the step board is attached and adjusted to the mounting brackets. This allows for proper alignment and positioning of the step assembly.
Yes, but only on the left (driver's) side of the vehicle. Remove the cable guide bracket from the leaf spring shackle. The cable guide bracket will no longer be needed and may be removed if desired. This step is not necessary on the right side.
Drill five 1/8" holes through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. These holes are used to attach the step pad with #8-18 x 1/2" TEK screws.
Two torque specifications apply: (1) End cap nuts: 5 lb-ft. (2) Square head screw flange nuts: 19 lb-ft.
One torque specification is provided: rear inboard bracket (on spring shackle bolt): 80 lb-ft. The bracket must be vertical when tightened. Flange nuts on rocker panel studs and other fasteners are tightened but no specific torque value is given in the manual.
The rear outboard bracket (part 551721) is installed using two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (part 106997), two 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), and two 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996). These fasteners connect the outboard bracket to the inboard bracket. The bracket should be left loose initially and tightened after step board adjustment.
The rear clamp bracket (part 552754) is installed using one 5/16-18 x 1" bolt (part 106997), one 5/16" flat washer (part 106998), and one 5/16-18 flange nut (part 106996). It is mounted over the cables from the removed cable guide bracket onto the rear inboard bracket.
Read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts listed on the Service Parts List are on hand before starting installation. You must also obtain the specific bracket package for your vehicle and review its instructions, as the bracket mounting procedure is not included in this manual.
