LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II package includes two step extrusions (available in 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths in silver or black), four step pads, four end caps, 24 square head bolts, 24 serrated flange nuts, and 20 TEK screws. The specific extrusion length depends on your model number (583072, 583078, 583088, 584072, 584078, or 584088). Mounting brackets are sold separately and come with their own installation instructions.
The O-MEGA II steps are a universal application. However, step pad positioning varies significantly by vehicle model and cab style. The manual provides specific pad location measurements for Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, RAM, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Tacoma models. Consult the Step Pad Location Guide on page 2 for your specific vehicle.
The W2W MEGA STEP/SES bracket system (model 571529) is designed specifically for 2015 and newer Ford F150 pickups with rocker panel mounting. It is a no-drill application. Note that if installing on a regular cab or super cab F150, two of the four brackets will remain unused.
The manual does not specify required tools. However, based on the installation steps, you will need a drill with a 1/8" bit (to drill holes for the step pads), a wrench or socket set to tighten bolts and nuts, and a torque wrench to achieve the specified torque values of 5 lb-ft for end cap nuts and 19 lb-ft for the main mounting bolts.
The manual does not specify required tools. However, based on the installation steps, you will need a wrench or socket set to install and tighten bolts and nuts, and a torque wrench to achieve the specified torque value of 80 lb-ft for the rear inboard bracket bolt. You will also need a tool to remove the cable guide bracket from the leaf spring shackle on the driver's side.
No. The W2W MEGA STEP/SES bracket system (model 571529) is a no-drill application. It mounts directly to factory-provided studs on the rocker panel and uses the existing leaf spring shackle bolt.
Yes. You must drill five 1/8" holes through the step plates to attach the step pads using the step pad as a guide. The specific location of these holes depends on your vehicle model, as shown in the Step Pad Location Guide. No other drilling is required; the mounting to brackets depends on the specific bracket package you are using.
Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, use the Step Pad Location Guide on page 2 to determine the correct position for your vehicle model and cab style. The guide provides two measurements: Pad A (distance from the front) and Pad B (distance from the front for the rear pad). Position the pads accordingly, then drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide and attach with five 8-18×1/2" TEK screws. Repeat for all step pads.
1. Install step pads on step plates using the Step Pad Location Guide for your vehicle. 2. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb-ft. 4. Position the step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. 5. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
1. Install two 1.5" isolator washers, the step mounting bracket, and two M8-1.25 flange nuts on the factory studs on the inside of the rocker panel (left side). 2. Repeat for remaining brackets. 3. Check that all brackets are level and tighten all flange nuts. 4. Remove the cable guide bracket from the leaf spring shackle (left/driver side only). 5. Remove the nut on the spring shackle bolt and install the rear inboard bracket; tighten to 80 lb-ft. 6. Install the outboard bracket using two 5/16-18×1" bolts, two 5/16" flat washers, and two 5/16-18 flange nuts; leave loose. 7. Attach the step board per its instructions. 8. Adjust and tighten the rear outboard bracket. 9. Install the rear clamp bracket over the cables. 10. Repeat steps 2-9 for the right side.
