LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Steps are universal oval step extrusions available in three sizes (69.0", 75.0", and 85.0") in silver or black aluminum. They are designed as a universal application, meaning they can be adapted to multiple vehicles when used with the appropriate vehicle-specific bracket package. The manual provides a step pad location guide for Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, RAM, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Tacoma models.
The W2W Mega Step Brackets (model 570938) are designed specifically for 09-16 RAM 1500 Pickups only. If you own a different vehicle or a different model year RAM, this product is not compatible.
Yes. 2009-2012 RAM 1500 trucks do not have obround holes in the pinch weld and will require drilling two 5/16" holes for each bracket. To locate the holes, follow the T-bolt installation procedure (step 2.5), then mark the pinch weld for drilling with the bracket in place. 2013-2016 trucks have pre-drilled obround holes and do not require drilling.
The O-MEGA II includes: 4 aluminum step pads (item #2), 4 plastic end caps (item #3), 24 square head screws 5/16-18 × 1" (item #4), 24 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (item #5), and 20 tek screws #8-18 × 1/2" stainless steel (item #6) for attaching step pads. The extrusion itself comes in pairs (2 per model number). Additional fasteners are not listed in the manual; the bracket package will include its own fasteners.

Insert two 1/4-20 × 1" carriage bolts (item #18) through the lower mounting flange and pinch weld, add 1/4" flat washers (item #19) and 1/4-20 flange nuts (item #20), leave finger-tight. 3. Insert an M8 × 25mm screw (item #21) with a 5/16" flat washer (item #22) through the slots on the upper mounting flange, leave finger-tight. 4. Repeat on the middle (item #2) and rear (item #3) brackets. 5. For the passenger side, use item #2 for front, item #1 for middle, and item #4 for rear (mirror image of driver's side).
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (item #24) into the large obround hole with the nut end first, leaving the threaded stud sticking out. Attach the plastic bolt retainer (item #25) to the threaded stud to prevent the T-bolt from falling into the rocker panel. 2. Place the driver's side front bracket (item #1) against the pinch weld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. Align the two rectangular holes with the obround holes in the pinch weld. 3. Insert two 1/4-20 × 1" carriage bolts (item #18) through the lower mounting flange and pinch weld, add 1/4" flat washers (item #19) and 1/4-20 flange nuts (item #20), leave finger-tight. 4. Place a flat washer (item #22) and M8 flange nut (item #23) on the T-bolt threaded stud, leave finger-tight. 5. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. Insert an M8 × 25mm screw (item #21) with a 5/16" flat washer (item #22), leave finger-tight. 6. Repeat steps 2.5-2.8 on the middle (item #2) and rear (item #3) brackets. 7. For the passenger side, use item #2 for front, item #1 for middle, and item #4 for rear (mirror image).
1. Attach the inboard mounting brackets (item #6 for right, item #7 for left) to the frame using 1/2-13 × 1.00" hex screws, 1/2" washers, and 1/2-13 serrated flange nuts (items #11, #10, #12). Leave loose. 4. Install the step plates and adjust all brackets and boards before tightening all fasteners.
